The Alpha's Cure

The Alpha's Cure

Now parked, she says, "There's a small hill at the bottom we must walk across. Our destination is just past the hill." By the lake, there's a lone tree. Dawn pulls a blanket from its bark and says, "Sit." Now seated side by side, she hands me another book. This book is the size of a larger cell phone and thin. Gazing into the water, she says, "I know tonight was strange, but you're at the beginning. The newest person to join is Danica, and she's been with us for five and a half years. Our stunning werewolf doesn't mean any harm. Their arrogance and beauty captivate and enchant us. Anyway, this book is filled with different guides to invoke. All twelve women can shapeshift into something else

THE GIRL IN THE MANUSCRIPT

THE GIRL IN THE MANUSCRIPT

Some were bound in what might have been leather, but most were wrapped in cloth stained with strange patterns that seemed to shift when one looked away, or sealed in wax that had melted and hardened again in uneven blobs like frozen tears. “This is where we keep the things you didn’t write,” the woman said, running her fingers over a stack of books wrapped in dark green cloth. Her touch was gentle, reverent almost. “The parts of the world that grew on their own while you were gone, while you were living your life in another place and time. Your manuscript was just a seed, Miss Isadora. But seeds have a way of sending roots into soil you never knew existed.”

HIS SECRETARY'S SECRET

HIS SECRETARY'S SECRET

Bella Pov Karen's book hit number one on the bestseller list three weeks after it published. I saw it displayed in the window of every bookstore I passed. "The Other Woman: A Love Story" in big letters with Karen's photo on the back cover. She was smiling in that photo. Looking innocent and sympathetic. Nothing like the woman who tried to poison me.

HIS PAST: HIS BRIDE

HIS PAST: HIS BRIDE

I glance at the cover of the book she slid across the counter: a Catherine Bybee novel. “Oh, wow, Mathilda. You’re a fan of Catherine Bybee?” I smile, genuinely impressed as I open the ledger. “It’s refreshing to see a teenager with such classic taste. Most girls your age are glued to their phones, but here you are, diving into a good romance.”

Young Boy X Seductive Older women

Young Boy X Seductive Older women

Ch-4 --------------------- Mom: "Oh, sweetheart, you ARE so naïve! Do you think a woman of my upbringing would let an amateurish oaf like you do her nails? And about the consummation, what is the rush? I finally feel refreshed after the flight and have a lot of shopping stored up inside me. That last thing, a family? You and me? That is absolutely precious! I'm afraid to tell you this: sure, I COULD have a baby at this age, but my figure would be ruined and hard as hell to rectify. Besides, what good is having a baby if you can't make your girlfriends jealous. I mean, you ARE a hunk, but I can hardly introduce my own son to them, now could I? Now, don't look so glum, be a dear, and put this

The Alpha King's Human Queen

The Alpha King's Human Queen

There were piles of books on her table, and there was a request for more books that she had drafted out. “My lady, let us leave.” Liora begged, following behind me impatiently. I checked through some of her books, and they were mostly fiction. My eyes caught a particular book under a pile of books, and I reached for it instantly. “My lady, you're going to get me killed.” Liora groaned as I picked up the book. “THE ADVENTURES OF LADY KILMARTIN.” I read out loud. “Huh?” Liora mumbled.

Second Bloom

Second Bloom

The specific quality of what it represents. "A woman at forty-five read the fourth book and began her second life," she says. Clara is quiet for a moment. "That is the book doing what it was for," she says. "Yes." "The first movement specifically." "Yes. The woman who was not unhappy. She recognized herself." "She was always the primary reader," Clara says. "Not the practitioners. Not the people deciding whether to commit. A woman at forty-five who does not yet have the language for what she is not choosing. That is who the fourth book was written for."

Painted Pearls

Painted Pearls

She had wondered privately if the stink of the city alone could coerce her to follow her husband’s command to stay indoors, though she considered it highly unlikely. As she had paused to examine the books lining the shelves, the faint beginnings of her good humour had fled. The titles on the spines leered down at her, the jagged lettering contriving rotten faces of their own. Woman and Sin, they read. The Keeping of a Good Wife. Accomplishments Acceptable in the Female Gender.

Entwined With The Alpha

Entwined With The Alpha

The older woman had gotten me these books from the inner room, only for the salesgirl to deny the books and the existence of the old woman at the store. What if the salesgirl wasn’t being rude and everything she said was true? What if the old woman wasn’t there, even though I spoke to her? What if I had seen a ghost or something else? I shivered. The young lady didn’t see any other person at the store but me. I stared at the books with confused eyes, and I picked the first book despite having already read it before. Following it sequentially made more sense, and as I read the last line of the third book, I saw that these are the ways of breaking the curse of power.

This was a good good read. Finally a finished book, with good characters, that were fleshed out. Grammar better than most, I wasn’t looking for steamy, but this one is! Would like to read another from this author.
Kaziah Alidon
So far this is one of the best books I’ve read on this app, the writer is so wonderfully involved welcoming ideas and comments. Which in my opinion shows how much she appreciates her readers. The amount of descriptiveness, information and detail really helps you visualize what your reading. Thanx!!

This Transmigration is Wrong!

This Transmigration is Wrong!

She felt like she was a kept woman! While being lost in her own thoughts, she didn't notice that Lisa pushed the book that was placed in the table towards her. "Speaking about this book, I've got this for you since you don't have anything to do anyways. It's a book about making pills. You should give it a try." Lisa said. Naomi looked at the book that was pushed towards her. The cover wasn't that ugly nor fancy as it looked quite ordinary. The cover had some words written on it which were "The First Steps of Becoming a Mage" which should be the book's title. The book was somehow thick.
