Her eyes looked at the writing in red ink in the book. “It’s... old Latin letters?” A dazzling white light came out of the book. Tiara protects her eyes with her own right hand. Her tiny body seems to pull into the book. “What the hell?!” The light was slowly dimming. That thick book closed. The strong winds just disappeared. Silent. The girl wasn’t in her chair. Her body disappeared along with the light that left the breezy night that flew the white curtain slowly. 🌷🌷

And Magnus was busy with council meetings. So I went to the library. It was empty, as usual. Dust floated in the sunlight coming through the tall windows. I walked between the shelves, not really sure what I was looking for. I just needed to think. To breathe. And that’s when I saw it. A book. Thick and old, with a cracked spine and faded gold lettering. It was lying open on the table like someone had been reading it. I frowned and stepped closer. "Creatures of Darkness," it said.

What was happening? Before she could react, a brilliant, golden light erupted from the book's spine, flooding the room with warmth and brightness. The air around her shimmered, filled with soft, glowing particles that floated like stars in the night. Selene gasped, her breath catching as the light intensified. Its glow was so powerful that it forced her to squint.

His laughter was contagious and we couldn't help but join in his laughter. I shook my head and took my three pendant; the anchor, the ship wheels, and the round object---which is my scythe. They watched me put the pendant into the cover of the book which they didn't notice the holes. Afterwards, the book shone brightly causing us to cover our eyes. I saw the pages flipping on its own until it stopped then the light died. I took the book and read the only two paragraphs stated in there.

He had imagined the shelves to be made of brown wood but instead, they were made of glass. The tacky common ladder designs were absent and instead, a silver plated strong looking machinery with platforms was installed below the shelf. At a glance, Luuk could tell the machinery was one that lifted people off the ground, to the direction and height they desire with an automobile robot assistant to move the books around. He had seen it in a video once but never in real life.

She was glancing around the room, trying to distract herself while she waited on her mom to catch up. The room she was in was a massive building with high ceilings. Thousands of 6 feel tall wooded shelves were standing upright and in rows and columns like a well-trained army. Each shelf held one giant ancient-looking book that was over 6ft tall. In front of each shelf was a small table that ran 6ft long and held 4 tables. Each table had a mechanism that could turn the pages of the book remotely from their seat, mages no longer had to get up from their seat or hire someone to turn pages for them.

I look around and discover that I’m at a strange location that I had never been to before. I look down at my hands and see a black coat on. I look inside when a light suddenly appears, and when I do, I see that the light is coming from the book I was reading earlier. All that changed is its size. I furrow my brows and turn the pages. However, there are no words. The pages are not filled in. I keep squinting my eyes. Since I now realize it is useless, all I do is tuck it back into my pocket when it lit up once more. It is accompanied by my bracelet.

As I raised my hand to put back the book in its shelf, I noticed the book seemed different from the others. It was blue, and had blue stones on it. “hmmm.” I opened the book, and what I read, caught my interest. *MYSTERY WORDS CAN’T BE SEEN, BUT CAN BE BROUGHT TO THE PAGES, BY FIRE.* It was weird, but I turned to the next page, and it was blank. I turned to another, and it was also blank, until I flipped the pages until the end, and realized everything was blank.

"What is it?" Amara asked. "I've seen Magnus do this before." He walked toward one of the bookcases. His fingers brushed across dozens of old books. History. Philosophy. Law. Poetry. Then... He stopped. One book was warmer than the others. He carefully pulled it free.
