It would have been nice if there had been a book titled Forbidden Magic of the Old Gods, but unfortunatley there wasn’t. The closest we came is the two books that are titled Forbidden Magic of the Gods. Among those two books we also kept the book titled Forbidden Magic of the Fae, with Eve being Fae we thought it might have answers to the magic she uses. The remaining two books are just titled Forbidden Magic with different time periods listed on the bottom. It is possible that these two books have a collection of forbidden magics written in it that could include the mind control one we are looking for.
