He didn't know if he could ever be accustomed to the terms used in this world. "Yes. Right now we can only feel your presence as a human. Princess Anna must have sealed it to hide you. However, your blood as a mage must be so strong that it could resist Princess Anna's spell, that's why there were times, as you've noticed, when something weird were happening to you." But Mayari don't believe in stuff like magic, unicorns, or fairytales, she only focus herself on things that she saw through her own life that is blood and money so she thought she was bluffing. I didn't say anything nor did I look where she was going. I didn't want to make her uncomfortable as the situation already is.

When I stood in front of the book, the first page turned on its own. "First lesson of the Seven Magics Academy," Pops said, eyeing me. "You must never touch any of the pages in the books in this room. Touching them will increase their speed of deterioration." "Then, how?" I began, putting my hands at my sides so I wouldn't accidentally touch one. "Like this." He smiled, then leaned in close to the book. "Chapter One," Professor Pops said. The book instantly flicked to the page that said Chapter One.

The Heart of Magic. Jergintarth's eyes widened, and his body trembled with rage. "Who are you? Give back the boy's heart!" snapped Jergintarth angrily. “My name is Lycus, the great sorcerer. For your selfish interests, our kind is destroyed! Give back the boy dragon's heart!” snapped Jergintarth in a thunderous voice.

He holds my eyes in a challenge and I'm too defiant to look away. "You are welcome to sit. No one in this house cares about the smoke." He says and takes another puff. Without a word I walk over to the chair opposite him and sit. I light my cigarette and inhale deeply before blowing out a puff of smoke. I look at the book the man is currently reading. Magician. The bold white words stand out against the stark black on the spine. The man could sense my star and peered over the top in amusement and… anticipation? Almost expectantly. "Have you read it?" He asks, mocking humor in his voice.

It would have been nice if there had been a book titled Forbidden Magic of the Old Gods, but unfortunatley there wasn’t. The closest we came is the two books that are titled Forbidden Magic of the Gods. Among those two books we also kept the book titled Forbidden Magic of the Fae, with Eve being Fae we thought it might have answers to the magic she uses. The remaining two books are just titled Forbidden Magic with different time periods listed on the bottom. It is possible that these two books have a collection of forbidden magics written in it that could include the mind control one we are looking for. We sit in silence for over an hour, flipping through the pages of our chosen books quickl

I asked her after she finished. “The book of shadows is a very powerful book. It is enchanted in itself and contains thousands of spells and information about magical objects that no one ever heard about. It is an ancient book, a treasure of knowledge and great asset to any witch" she replied with some hope in her eyes that got me hoping as well. I smiled at her and she smiled back. “Enough talking. Now let us start training before the boys come back for dinner and lover boy stares at you” I felt my cheeks heat up and she giggled loudly.

Suddenly, the book flipped open and the pages began to flutter back and forth. I stood up in shock, knocking my chair over as I did. The sound of the chair clattering against the floor broke Miriam from her thoughts. She grinned as she saw the book, laying open to a page labeled "Hybrids". "Miriam." I sputtered. "What was that? That book just moved and flipped pages on its own. That's not any kind of fae magic I've ever seen." She looked at me, amusement in her eyes. "I told you, it's my book, it responds to me. I'm spirit fae, and while I may not know much about what that means, I do know that I have a connection to dark magic."

“What is this?” “You wanted to know why I want you to go back with Viola. Read this then. Just the first few pages,” he says. I gaze at him dubiously before opening the page and see words and symbols I have never seen before. But before I can say anything, he chants a spell again and automatically whatever gibberish was written shifts and reforms into readable words. My eyes widen and I file the question regarding this for later at the back of my mind. My eyes fall upon the word ‘Mage Wolf’
