Chapter 21 As the fated mates took their first step towards the unknown, a distant rumble echoed through the air. The ground beneath them trembled, sending shockwaves of uncertainty through their beings. A tempest brewed on the horizon, dark clouds swirling in a sinister dance. Their eyes widened in alarm as a figure emerged from the storm, a figure they had never anticipated. It was a being of ancient power and malevolence, a harbinger of chaos and despair. The realm gasped in collective disbelief, for the figure was none other than Malachi himself, risen from the depths of oblivion.

Does that mean anything to you?" "Who's Matthew?" Jude asks. The man jokes, "An apostle." "I'm sorry," Jude squints. Almost dumbfounded, Corey informs us, "Matthew is an apostle in the Bible. I quoted out of the book of Matthew. Sorry for assuming."

She told me she was going to rest and I allowed her to rest and when I walked in she was having a nightmare screaming a bit then she told me she wanted to be left alone and I agreed to it. She’s my master and I’m just a servant to her so why would I oblige? So by the time I was back, I didn’t see her, she was gone” Matrine was lost in thoughts wondering what they were thinking.

Jaxon read aloud. "When the false mother falls, the true gate wakes." Silence. Then Maddox murmured “I hate books.” Calder took the Codex from Jaxon and read the next line forming beneath it. "Four bloods. One heir. Return what was lost." The pulse under my palm kicked once. All three males froze. Then looked at me. Then at my stomach. Then at each other. “Oh no.” Jaxon murmured. “What?” I snapped. He pointed between me and the stairs. “You’re not the key, if that makes sens.”

“KNEEL AND APOLOGIZE TO MY MATE!” They immediately kneeled and apologized. I growled low. “You two will serve my mate from now on. You will do what she asks, without question. One slip-up, and you are in the dungeons. Understood?!” “Yes, Beta Adrian.” I looked at the other three women. “You three will move my mate’s things after dinner to the beta floor. You will unpack everything and put it in its place. If even one item is mishandled, you are going to the dungeons. Understood?!”
