Book Review For Jane Eyre Novels & Stories

Nothing could go wrong in reading a book, right? Her resolution didn't last for long because the contents of the first page made her close the book in shock and a blush painted her cheeks. She didn't expect to be greeted with such unrestrained way of describing the events. It was a rare sight to see Bellona being flustered as she was always so poised. All these was new to her. She took deep breaths and composed herself and opened the book, this time she tried to read each page, careful not to miss even the slightest detail. Because according to Jane, the book was important to her and it'd help her succeed.

Kathrena and I could fill him in, anyway. And I couldn’t deny that the book was interesting, despite the fact that most of it had gone straight over my head. It spoke of the supernatural in a way that made it seem brilliant, and beautiful, and it was a viewpoint I’d never considered before. I’d seen it – and myself – as dark and mysterious, a slimy underbelly that permeated all that was light and good in the world. But the witch made it seem like magic, and, to her, I supposed that it was.

Frowning, I remove its contents, and my eyes grew. “First edition of Jane Eyre!” I say with excitement, then I blanch. Why was I excited about this? I look up at him and see the smile forming on his face. “I knew it,” he says and sits down on the chair next to my bed. “I knew you would remember your favourite book, even if you forgot everything else. Literature used to be your sanctuary.”

You know that feeling you got when you prepared your first meal or when you finally rode a bicycle without assistance or when you made your first friend, that gentle feeling of pride and self-appraisal that made you so happy you wanted to make that food again and ride that bike longer? That's exactly how I feel right now after finishing up the book Jana gave me at the library yesterday. I've never read a book in less than twenty-four hours, no matter the size, but it's just sunset, and I'm done. It's very informing and enlightening, but it's basically a more detailed explanation of the history Sean told me summarily.

She was walking through the aisles when her eyes fell on a book, she walked towards the Shelf and picked it up. The book has a deceiving look; it looked like it had a soft surface but it was hard and very dusty. she blew the dust off the cover and it further piqued her interest. It looked like some kind of ancient texts that should be found in only museums or ancient ruins; much less a library. “Do you like reading?” Everest asked Eva, glancing at her from her desk Jayne replied “Actually, she does; she’s a smarty pants” before entering another room filled with machines.

We were focusing on the 1800's and the flow of Jane Austen's words. I've read the book before so I know what's going to happen & I watched the movie, but let me just say this: ITS TOTALLY OVERHYPED. It's not overrated, but it's overhyped. Do you understand the difference? If not, I don't have the time to explain it. I'm not saying that it isn't a great book— because, trust me it is,— but I didn't get why everyone was especially fascinated with it. See? I can't explain it. I tried so hard to focus today, but my mind kept wandering to daydream instead.

It looked almost ordinary, which somehow made it more unsettling. Jane leaned closer immediately, curiosity winning over caution like it always did with her. She released my hand and carefully lifted the book off my chest, settling it between her palms like it might bite if mishandled. “It is English,” she said after a quick scan. Then her brows pulled together. “But… this is strange.” Sammy shifted beside the bed, impatience tightening his shoulders. “Does it even matter who wrote it. Just read the bloody content.” Jane shot him a look but did not argue. She cleared her throat and started reading from the beginning, her voice steady, analytical, stripping emotion away as if that would make

"Go have your private chat. Don't worry about me." A hint of shyness appeared on my mother's gentle face. After I closed the door, I planned to study for a while, but my thoughts were a mess. I took a copy of Jane Eyre off the bookshelf and started flipping through it absentmindedly. Before long, I was engrossed. I was much luckier than the heroine, but her spirit was truly admirable. Gradually, I realized that ever since coming to New York, I was no longer the naive girl I used to be. Although it seemed I had entered a greenhouse, I had grown quite a lot.

I mumbled, heading toward the bathroom. Ryan didn’t stop me, but I felt his eyes on my ass the entire way. In the bathroom I wiped myself down with a warm cloth, wincing at how sensitive I still was. My reflection in the mirror looked thoroughly fucked…. flushed cheeks, messy hair, a faint hickey already forming on my collarbone. I smiled despite myself. When I came back out, Ryan was still naked, sitting on the edge of my bed flipping through another book *Jane Eyre* this time. “ ‘I am no bird; and no net ensnares me,’ ” he read aloud, voice low and smooth. He looked up at me, eyes gleaming. “Fitting, don’t you think? You tried to run earlier.”

I said and then got the book in the phone and started to read the book. As I read the book, I found it more and more interesting. I was just simply reading her a book but the content that was in there was way more interesting than it could be. I loved every parts of it. The way Elizabeth behaved, her proud and wise nature, her smartness, her innocence and her way of loving Mr. Darcy. But she was prejudiced most of the times about Mr. Darcy.
