His Book club

His Book club

When my shift ended, I found myself walking toward the corner table where Kael sat, his laptop closed now, a book in his hands. I stopped short when I saw the cover. ‘Knot We Cannot Untie.’ That was the book he was holding. I can't believe that Kael would be reading one of Linda Lively’s books. “You read… this?” I said, the surprise evidently in my voice. Kael looked up, one brow raised. “Why? You think I only read racing magazines and bank statements?” I gave a small laugh. “Chill bro. It’s just… not what I was expecting ”

Billionaire's Regret: His Ex-Wife Returns From The Dead

he mutters with a smile as he gives out his hand to shake me. I take it. “Hi. How’re you doing?” “I’m good. Eryis? Nectar’s asked a lot about her.” “Oh, she’s perfectly fine.” We both take out seats. “What would you like to have?” Zeath asks while watching me with all the time in his eyes. “Coffee?” I shrug. “Isn’t that the only thing available in a bookstore?” He chuckles. “No. There are varieties here.” As I look at him, my smile fades into a frown on instinct. “I will have coffee,” I say brazenly. Believe me, even I don’t know why.

Forceful Marriage: Young Master's Mute Wife

As he moved his feet in that direction, he changed his direction and went to the service desk to look at the list. Mo Feitong had never walked into a bookstore in his life. It was either a bar or a club. When he saw the name on it, he was stunned. What was tea of Lao She and Anna's coffee? What kind of things were these? "Sir, what would you like to drink?"

none of the books I'm reading are updating...(3) and will be reluctant to start another,, and 2 that do usually update of the 3 more frequent as the one which is not at all, only allows minimal time to read..less than an actual chapter, they act like its a few when still on same scenario and events.

'Woman'

'Woman'

I bite my lip to suppress a growl. I had the fortune of ducking into a book store with a small eating area attached. 'Treats and Treatise', was the sign overhead. The smell of warm foods and old books eases my stress and makes my belly rumble. I find it hard to focus on this agitating male when the tantalizing scent of seared meats, fresh breads, and coffee linger. I do like coffee. Kita had once brought a small thermos cup of it back from the city for us to share. It was bitter, slightly warm and rich. I had no doubt he stole it and that interesting cup, but I wouldn't turn down the chance to experience a sip. I later chewed wild onions and covers to mask the scent from Remus.

Ultima.

Ultima.

The stone was hot today. — We'll stop at that cafe over there, I'm hungry.—I pointed out. When we arrived at the outdoor cafe, I ordered coffee. — What is this book that you carry around with you all day? And you said you were hungry.—Dean stared at me with his black eyes. — Read it and you'll understand everything. I can't say how I got it, but here's the whole truth... Read it.—I pushed the book towards him. I don't know how I drank the coffee, because I didn't even taste it.

A MAFIA LOVE STORY

I replied, shaking his hand briefly before pulling it back, a tingle left in its place. “So, Kalia, what’s so captivating in that book of yours that you almost missed the best coffee in town?” He nodded toward my cup. I tilted my head, considering him. “You are assuming I don’t already know that this place has the best coffee.” He raised an eyebrow. “Fair enough. But now I’m curious about the book.” I held it up, the cover facing him. “It’s a mystery novel. Keeps me on my toes.” He leaned in slightly, intrigued. “A mystery, huh? So, you like solving puzzles?”

The Baby's Mother Need Love

The Baby's Mother Need Love

Although it was not as enthusiastic as Rafael's work, the business of the coffee shop was also becoming more and more stable. Jessie stayed in lounge and read books for a long time. Alex came over to pick her up. Jessie had already fallen asleep on the sofa. Alex picked up the book Jessie had just read. The name of the book was Appreciation and Taste. Alex casually flipped through it. The book talked about various combinations of coffee and desserts as well as their main characteristics. Jessie woke up and saw Alex reading the book that she had read. Thinking that she was too lazy to sleep when she read the book, Jessie's face turned a little red. "When did you come over?"

Tangled In Scales

Tangled In Scales

The soft hum of pages turning, the scent of freshly brewed coffee mingling with the faint vanilla musk of aged paper. This was Ashwin’s sanctuary. The bookstore café was a cozy little escape from the worries of the outside world, with its warm yellow lighting, wooden bookshelves stretching toward the ceiling, and snug reading nooks filled with plush chairs and knitted blankets. Ashwin sat behind the counter, absently wiping down the espresso machine as he watched the customers.

Charlotte's Search

"Larry, I have days off too. I'm, um, off-duty." "It's just a coffee." I hold up palms. "I promise you my intentions are strictly honourable." Her mouth quirks. "In that case, yes, thank you. I'd love a coffee." She turns to the counter. "I'll take this as well please, Cliff." A gnome of a man wraps the book in a creased brown-paper bag. I squint a look at the title. Nothing to Declare: Memoirs of a Woman Traveling Alone.
