I sighed and walked around helping customers find books or check out till it was finally time to clock out. When my time was finally over, I checked out and left, do I change my clothes? I have a skirt on with thigh high socks and a sweater. We found 'Whispers of Time,' a quaint bookstore tucked away in a corner, its shelves filled with weathered tomes and ancient manuscripts. I approached the counter, my heart pounding with anticipation. An elderly woman with kind eyes and a gentle smile greeted us. "Welcome, dear travelers. How may I assist you today?" After scanning the various titles displayed on the bookshelf for a moment, the lady took out a rather thick book. Then, she passed the book to James and explained, “This is a book that contains a lot of information about the Endlos. It has descriptions of the Endlosʼ Nine Districts and stories about some of the most famous powerhouses to exist here. An elderly cultivator with many years of knowledge and experience wrote the book. Its price is quite reasonable too…”

Like a precious lost treasure, she held the book in her hands with the inscription "The Book of the Banshees" etched like gold on the cover. Evelyn's eyes were trained on the book, lost in the sight of it like an invisible specter tethering her thoughts and focus to one single point.

“No one is sending any one to hell. We are meeting in fifteen. Reach as soon as possible.” I hung up the call. I wished that I knew what this was about but as far as I was about demons they were never going to let you know something until you really were needed to know about it. Lily's hands trembled slightly as she entered a bookshop just off Bond Street. The dark-rose gown and yellow-gold cloak she wore made her feel out of place amid the shanty shelves and dusty tomes. Motes of dust danced and swirled in the beams of light cutting through the windows and illuminating the gilded spines of the books stacked thickly behind her.
