The Peculiar Flower

The Peculiar Flower

She left them and walked straight towards their classroom. “Another boring day,” she whispered to herself as she sat. She put her bag and get the book which she covered with another design to hide the real title of the book. The book was called “My Journey Beyond My Imagination”. It was written by Lilia Desaix, it’s the reason why Clandes covered the book. Bulwarkians were not allowed to read or use any artworks of Desaix. Desaix was known as a criminal, they killed a lot of humans since they are vampires and witches. But, it cannot be denied that they are talented.

Suddenly I became a billionaire's wife

Suddenly I became a billionaire's wife

I replied while still looking outside. “My friend's bookstore is nearby, Brian knows where it is, when we get there, he'll remind us.” Matthew added. The car ran on a road that was not too crowded, the outside scene changed from the empty suburb to a busy street with high-rise buildings. Soon we were stopping at a retro bookstore amid a long line of modern shops and buildings. I looked at that bookstore, surprised. "Are we there?!" Surprise was evident on my face. "Yes!" Brian replied. “Is this your bookstore?” I continued to ask.

IN LOVE WITH HIS ENEMY

IN LOVE WITH HIS ENEMY

If this was a trap, better one of us fall than both. He'd argued. Of course he'd argued. But in the end, he understood. Some doors only open for one person. The bookstore was called "Between the Pages." A narrow storefront on a quiet street, windows fogged with salt air, a hand-painted sign creaking in the wind. I stood across the street for ten minutes, watching. Trying to see if this was real or another layer of the game. Then I crossed and pushed open the door. --- The bell above the door chimed softly.

The Billionaire's Baby Bargain

The Billionaire's Baby Bargain

She pulls back her long sweater just enough to reveal a book about as thick as a dictionary and as old looking as the council members. “What is that?” I ask, finally with a glimmer of hope returning to my attitude. “Not here, somewhere more private.” Bess says, quickly pulling her sweater over her. We continue walking until we come into a narrow alley way. The street is mostly deserted and there’s no windows on the building. We hover over Bess as she opens her long coat to shield whatever she can of the book. “Is this why you took forever in the bathroom?” Robert asks. “Where did you find this?” I ask, impressed by her actions- though maybe I shouldn’t be. She is a warrior after all.

I really liked the story but HATE the ending, too much left hanging. I don’t think this was a good ending to the book even if there is a sequel. So now I’ll wait for hopefully a next one so there’s closure to so many unresolved issues.

is this book finished? I am getting near the end and where I'm at, there is a lot to wrap up in just a few chapters. I think this is a great story line, it has me anxious to find out how it will all out

Bound to the Moon: The Exorcist's Accidental Alpha

Bound to the Moon: The Exorcist's Accidental Alpha

Scarlett replied curtly, her eyes darting to the rearview mirror. An hour later, they pulled up to the back entrance of a dilapidated bookstore in the Old District. The sign above the door hung by a single rusted chain, peeling gold letters spelling out The Corner of Oblivion. Scarlett led Caleb through a labyrinth of musty corridors, stopping eventually before a wall covered in ancient, tarnished astrolabes. She bit her thumb, her blood sharp and metallic on her tongue, and traced a rapid Bagua seal onto the center of the wall. With a heavy groan of shifting gears, the wall slid open to reveal an elevator that descended deep into the earth.

The Billionaire’s Bartered Bride

"You are one stubborn girl, you should have disputed and sent them back to him if you didn't want them," "Aron, can we not talk about this? I already told you my stand, there are many other places we can hold the exhibition," Nicole responded, she didn't know why Aron was so bent on using there for the exhibition, there are a lot of local places to choose from, lots of beautiful places too, she would have said Vhrisma but even Vhrisma was hers too, sadly, her favorite art store belong to her and she couldn't even go there because she was damn sure someone will film her and she didn't want to be on the papers for any reason.
