Daddy's Obsession (Filthy Daddies Collection)

"Three days. You can survive three days with a grumpy hermit who barely tolerates your existence. You've survived worse." Except she wasn't sure she had survived worse. At least not recently. She explored the cabin while Caspian was showering, careful not to touch anything. The living room had floor to ceiling bookshelves filled with an eclectic collection. Philosophy, survival guides, classic literature, modern thrillers. There was a whole section on wildlife and conservation, which surprised her. The kitchen was well stocked with dried goods, canned items, and a massive freezer full of meat that was presumably hunted locally. There was a pantry that could probably feed a small army for mon

Living With An Alpha

Living With An Alpha

She couldn't resist the temptation and slowly opened the creaky lid. Inside the chest, she discovered a collection of journals, each filled with faded ink and delicate handwriting. The journals were filled with accounts of daring expeditions to far-off lands, encounters with mythical creatures, and tales of hidden treasures. They painted a vivid picture of Killian's past adventures, and Tiffany was captivated by the stories they held. Unable to resist, she chose one journal and began to read. As she delved deeper into the pages, Tiffany felt an inexplicable connection to the tales. The words seemed to come alive, transporting her to distant lands and igniting a longing for her own adventures

Instead, it almost seems to spur him on more when it comes to making more ideas on how to move the entire pack on a budget. "Why don't we just buy the land, and then we can live off of the land the way that we did in the past. We do not have to have fancy homes or anything. All we need is a strong will to survive and we definitely have that going for us." Eric says to the group.

And although he mentioned that we would be taught different things, that hasn't happened yet as well. I did spend time reading books. From the bookshelf of my room, I saw one book that had the majority of the places inside Cinco listed. The lands that were rich enough and had plenty of resources, and the lands that were so poor werewolves were resulting to cannibalism to fend off hunger. I got sick and vomited most of my meal that day. I couldn't eat much after that.

I have not read the book as yet; I read the quotes at beginning of each chapter, from chapter 10 onwards. I found the quotes relevant to current situations I am facing. Thanks for a timely reminder, author! I will be reading the book soon and I anticipate an enjoyable read

go like a snail through Assam Road. People are coming from five or six gardens to market. Alone in a crowd. The remaining six days of the week do not even sit. Even After Death

Even After Death

They freely ran everywhere, and they also rolled around on the mountainside. Sometimes, Olivia would bring a basket with her to the garden to harvest vegetables. She would also go to the orchard to pick some fruits. It was a tropical area, so mangoes, pineapples, and bananas grew well here. Ethan, who spent money excessively, even built a temperature-controlled produce section here. It was entirely possible to live off the island itself. Ethan also built a small house of books for her. There were various books inside, from medical texts to local and international novels. Even the contemporary classics were included.

Congratulations author! Such a nice plot of a novel about a woman’s saga on the romantic- love-hate realm. I cried a bucket for Olivia at the beginning of the story, but I admire the true love of Ethan for her at the later part. In this time and age, would there be such kind of love?

Living And Dying

Living And Dying

She gave me a tired look. “ That is why we are craving for a home. I use to think we're existing because we are here to live and die later. But I realized, living while dying is possible. No one seems to understand us the way we understand ourselves. It's crazy to think we can give comforts to others we wish we could give to ourselves.”

The Nightmare

The Nightmare

It makes me feel close to her. Dad said that Mom would know what herbs, plants, berries and mushrooms were safe just like I do. I didn't trust myself at first and bought a few books to double check but now I know that I could live off the land for at least a spring, summer and fall season. The winters here are too harsh though. After cleaning up the camp, I had the impulse to find a few of my other sites and fix them up too. I had a makeshift shelter at each of them but they all needed to be fixed back up. After spending a few hours fixing them all, I headed back to the house to find Dad making dinner.

Great book. Well paced, intriguing characters with very solid world building. My one qualm is that there are, at times, too many characters. Often there are a lot of names being thrown around and its hard to tell who's who.
