A MADMAN'S OBSESSION

A MADMAN'S OBSESSION

'That never happened. 'You’re exaggerating.' 'You’re too emotional.' 'I’m only like this because you push me.' He said it so calmly, so convincingly, that sometimes Marcie caught herself wondering if she really was the problem. Maybe she was ungrateful. Maybe she was dramatic. Maybe she deserved it. And that thought...that sick, planted thought was the worst injury of all. Because it meant he was inside her head. And now, Marcie stopped calling anyone. She stopped reaching out.

Read My Mind, Pay the Price

Read My Mind, Pay the Price

I don't want to hear this anymore! Sophie stared at me in disbelief. "Why? That's impossible! How did you get my brainwave data?" Sage piped up, "Because I designed that chip system. I planted a counter-control program in the chip inside your head. Everything you saw was what we wanted you to see. "Those foreign specialists you hired stole my research. I've already called the cops, and they've been arrested."

Mindreader

Mindreader

"Are you seriously reading my mind again?" “I’m not doing anything,” I said evenly. “You’re the one thinking too loud.” His jaw tightened. "I hate having a mind reader around." “Yeah,” I said softly, turning away. “You’ve been pretty consistent about that.”

When The Mind Speaks

When The Mind Speaks

“The others, six of them, were still in their tank. No results. They could be dead any time soon.” Praxis’s mind calmed down a bit. He didn’t know but even though the drug had slowed down his brain, he was now able to comprehend everything. He saw that as an advantage. The doctor seemed to be magnanimous enough to say a lot, and Praxis saw that as an opportunity to gather helpful information while his body was in its relaxed state. “So, what this all is for? A government order?” Praxis asked, voice was expressionless and hoarse and tired.

Mindreader’s False Glory

Mindreader’s False Glory

Ruby turned her head and shot me a provocative look, her eyes brimming with smug satisfaction. I stood at the edge of the crowd, a faint, cold smile tugging at my lips. Just as I thought. A moment ago, I had cursed her in my mind, calling her an idiot, and she hadn’t reacted at all. However, the second I started thinking through specific skill data, she responded immediately. So her mind-reading skill wasn’t all-knowing. It seemed she could only pick up on the most focused, technical thoughts in my mind.

Zion

Zion

I was hitting a blank. What else would be warm? I didn't know if the warm thoughts idea would work but it seemed worth a try. Mind over matter right? So if my mind thought I was burning alive right now everything else wouldn't matter. It was a stupid thought but I was taught that your mind is your greatest weapon especially since I didn't have to physically wield magic. I could just think about healing a person, imagine their broken bone repairing or their pained body fit again and they would miraculously heal. My mother had taught me how to use my mind to do those type of things since it was her specialty.

I normally read werewolf stories, which is how I found this author as I've been reading the Kylie's other books. This is the first story I've read with Demons and Angels, and I have really enjoyed it. A massive congratulations to Kylie for another great story. Looking forward to more stories :)

I was enthralled by this story of good and and evil. I believe you are a little closer to the mark than most which makes this story very interesting to read. I was very impressed. I definitely think you should do a follow up. Your writing is very talented. Thank you for an amazing tale. Please more.

THE LUNA HE REJECTED!

THE LUNA HE REJECTED!

I sounded so loud and shocking. Adelaide froze, before she turned slowly. “And why not?” Because it’s dangerous. Because every story I ever heard about these books ended badly. But what I said was different. “Those texts influence the mind,” I said. “They make people see things that are not real.” Adelaide stared at me like she couldn’t believe what she was hearing. “You think I’m imagining things?” “That is not what I said.” “It is exactly what you said.” The room suddenly went silent, as we both stared at each other.

Misread Mind: Dad Gave My Life Away

I'm celebrating tonight! This time, there were no inversions. Dad could clearly read every single thought and even hear the sinister cackling in Pauline's mind.

My Mind Reading Gift Exposed Your Lies, My Lord

Looking back on these long centuries, I had never regretted a single decision. From the woman who awakened telepathy at a Blood Oath ceremony, to the Empress who brought the entire vampire world to its knees. In this life, I have never lost.

Mind Reading Isn't So Good After All

Mind Reading Isn't So Good After All

Instead, she turned to look at me. I kept my head down, thinking, "Yvette clearly is just worried about Mom going back to the company and getting in the way of her escapades with Dad. Ugh, they're like two dogs in heat! They couldn't even wait to get a room. Don't they know that the office has a surveillance camera? "And what did she mean by mental illness? It was Dad who drugged Mom and forced her to leave the company. Later, Yvette found her a quack who claimed to be a traditional medicine practitioner. He had no license and prescribed prescriptions that only worsened her condition.
