She wanted to continue the book but she felt her body pleading with her to rest but she's scared to shut her eyes cause of the nightmares. But after so much pleading from her body, she closed the book and laid down "Lord, please let me have a peaceful sleep this time around" she muttered and let herself fall asleep but if wishes were horses, beggers would definitely ride them.

The soft melody of the harp and the faint sound of Harriet turning the pages of the novel made Liam feel sleepy. His body which was aching as usual made him want to sleep constantly, but this made him very annoyed. Many times he had fallen asleep wanting to spend some quality time with his wife. He didn't want to sleep anymore. He wanted to enjoy this peaceful time a little longer.

As I lay sprawled on my bed later that day, the afternoon sunlight streaming through the curtains and casting a warm glow over my room, I tried to focus on the book in my hands. The words on the page danced and blurred together, refusing to stick in my tired brain. I sighed, closing my eyes for a moment, feeling the gentle hum of the house around me. The rhythmic ticking of the clock on my nightstand was oddly soothing, and I felt myself drifting, caught in that pleasant limbo between wakefulness and sleep.

That meant I still had two more hours and a few minutes before I really have to be awake. But I couldn't fall back asleep. I tried and so many times but my eyes didn't want to stay closed, it wanted to remain opened. Giving up trying, I started to look at the ceiling as there was nothing to do, I got bored and tired of looking at the ceiling and I went to pick one of my books there on the shelf. I switched on the bedside lamp, relaxed, leaning back on my headboard and started to read through the pages.
