The Fall Of A Made Man (Book 1 Of The Fallen Gods Series)

The Fall Of A Made Man (Book 1 Of The Fallen Gods Series)

Using my left hand, I grabbed an abandoned rifle from a dead Italian, ready to shoot the fucker who was trying to kill my wife without relenting. But just one mistake and that was it. The sound of gunshot echoed beneath the tables. Eyes widened and a blood-curdling scream tore from Ava’s lips, followed by the metallic stench of blood splattered on the white floor, painting it red.

Our Last Fall

Our Last Fall

"Sam, don't let go! Hold on, I'm going to fall! Ah…! I'm falling! Sam! Catch me!" When I walked in, I finally saw what was happening. Samson was helping Celia learn to ride a bike out in the yard, holding her steady as she wobbled along. In the end, Celia shrieked, fell off the bike, and tumbled right into his arms. "Sam, am I really that stupid? Why can't I get the hang of this after so long?" Samson's voice was gentle. "You'll get it. Just keep practicing." Celia's smile was radiant. "Sam, you're the best!"

Let's Fall in Love Again (book 2)

Let's Fall in Love Again (book 2)

Every hair on her arm stood as she beat back the panic welling in her breast. On the other hand, she had read novels in which the lady had enjoyed the pirate’s passionate kisses. The heroine in the book actually fell in love with the ruthless man. Isabelle rolled her eyes. It was beyond her knowledge how any woman could feel that way. Yet, Hawk had been attentive while she was being jolted atop his horse. It had seemed he almost cared about her discomfort when offering to have her lean against him.

The First Mate

Dane circled the table and I giggled, ducking out of his reach and spinning around his back before shooting for Xavier again. I managed to read the paper in that time, stopping as my heart melted. After resting for a while, they walked around and saw a bookstore which they both agreed to enter. She was reading the back of Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen when Jacob asked her. “What do you say let’s read horror books? Like the ones we watched today?” “Eh? I’m scared. You go read first, then give me a summary, then I’ll decide. Haha!” “Roger!” as he picked The Dunwich Horror and Others by H.P. Lovecraft and IT by Stephen King. They finished book shopping, it was around three in the afternoon when Jacob invited her to go somewhere else.

[BL] Can you see me? (The Ruthless Mafia Love)

[BL] Can you see me? (The Ruthless Mafia Love)

The year 2014 Day first. It was the ninth month of the year. The autumn season. It is the season of inner calm and a kindly stoicism etched in memories of joy. The autumn comes as a gospel choir, harmonised in such a way that celebrates each hue and shows how they belong together. Autumn is alien. The season of bumper harvests and swaying hay is soon replaced by Hallowe’en and horror. It is a portal to a time of dread when winter’s suffocating skies throttle the land. At its most glorious, autumn is spectacular. The world is a-blaze in its fiery cloak of colours, from incandescent-red to lightning-gold. Then both leaf flame and field light burn bright one last time, ‘are fading into the dyin

Sociopath in Love

She didn’t even notice when she got so cold. “I see you prefer to shop in large quantities,” Yuna looked at the stack of books with a malicious glance. “We don’t have Simmons in the store, but we have a couple of books in stock: “Prayers to the Broken Stone” and “The Fall of Hyperion.” — “Hyperion” is not particularly interesting to me, but I would buy a collection of his stories. - Okay, I’ll call tomorrow and order delivery - it’s too late today. They probably dumped everything. And I'm closing in about twenty minutes. If you don't have plans, then let's go home together.

It’s also very unlikely for me to walk back home. Skylar🌸: Oh alright. Sorry again for ditching you. Love you! Night boo. I smiled and typed back. Love you too! Night. I placed my phone on the bedside table and grabbed a book that I started reading yesterday. 'Before I Fall' by Lauren Oliver. At some point while reading, my eyes slowly gave up on me and I fell asleep in my dress and with the book in hand.

Entwined With The Alpha

Entwined With The Alpha

I entered mine, went through the three books I had gotten from the store, and set them down on the bed. I folded my arms and read their names. The Claiming Rites, Finding the One, and Under the Red Moon. There was no order in which anyone should read these books, so I sat down and picked up The Claiming Rites. After an hour, I finished reading. The book made zero sense, and then I picked up Finding the One and spent another hour reading through it. While the first book was incomplete, the second made a little more sense. I picked up the third, which I had gone to Zion’s room with. I took my time reading, and another hour went by.

I'm finally giving a book 5 stars. the reason is that the story is absolutely amazing! it's so captivating, and I literally fall asleep reading it because I don't want to put it down. there are several grammatical errors, but it does not take away from the book. Harvard to stanford? not good though

So far this is one of the best books I’ve read on this app, the writer is so wonderfully involved welcoming ideas and comments. Which in my opinion shows how much she appreciates her readers. The amount of descriptiveness, information and detail really helps you visualize what your reading. Thanx!!

The Luna's Law

The Luna's Law

*Poppy* I was fidgeting in the backseat, clutching my documents. Outside the window, the trees merged into a beautiful landscape of colors, from dark greens to browns, oranges, and reds. Autumn has come. I loved this time of year the most. Not only did nature spoil us with colors, but the air smelled different. Evening walks seemed more romantic. Morning runs gave me energy, and pumpkin dishes were one of my favorites. Not to mention autumn evenings with wine and reading by the warm fireplace.
