The Twins He Never Knew

The Twins He Never Knew

"You expect us to believe that the greatest power in human history just... vanished? That you’re just a group of civilians?" I looked him dead in the eye. "I expect you to realize that the 'Great Reset' didn't just break the banks. It broke the rules. You’re trying to build a new world on the ruins of the old one, but you don't have the blueprints. I do." I reached into my pocket and pulled out a small, non-glowing data-chip. It wasn't the Archive. It was a map.

Rebirth: Farewell to the Past

Rebirth: Farewell to the Past

Perhaps it was boredom from being alone for so long, or perhaps it was pity for this little wolfkin, but I eventually nodded. Life passed uneventfully as I took the little wolfkin under my wing to learn medicine and collect herbs. With a bodyguard like that following me around, it seemed that few dared to provoke me. That was until an elderly servant I had not seen in a while suddenly appeared, disrupting my peaceful life once again. "Princess Mirella, Princess Lyra and the king are dead! You must return and help your nation!" The servant's words struck me like a thunderbolt, and I trembled uncontrollably. I asked him repeatedly, but the answers were all the same.

Resurgence

Resurgence

Lilith asks changes the topic I shook my head. "She wants me back. She wants to start over with our relationship." I said blankly. "And??" Raising an eyebrow. "I'm done with her, I'm done with her manipulation and deception. She humiliated me, hurt me, manipulated me, and almost ruined my business." I said coldly. Then I took one last sip of the whiskey. I and Lilith spoke for a couple of minutes, and she then left. I entered my room and lay on my bed, I missed Hestia's warm body. I close my eyes and started remembering our cuddles and how I felt safe in her embrace.

Reborn in the Firewall

Reborn in the Firewall

Lifting her chin, she demanded, "If anything goes wrong, we'll just say your computer broke. You'll still hold full responsibility. So what's your choice? Will you do it yourself, or do you need me to break it for you?" I slammed my hand on the desk and stepped in front of the computer, my voice ice‑cold. "You'd better think carefully about the consequences." Nancy's face hardened. She grabbed a chair and smashed it straight into the desk. The custom connectors, the network blockers—every piece of specialized equipment was reduced to wreckage. The mess on the ground was everything I'd spent years building with my own hands. She stepped on the router and ordered coldly, "Your equipment's wrec

Restart My Life: The CEO's Second Chance

Restart My Life: The CEO's Second Chance

She read quickly. Biotech startup founded by siblings with a past full of promise, just the two of them and their dream. Once a rising star in the medical device industry, but the company hit a crossroads when the brothers had a falling out over a missing patent; one went for revenge and the other shut down. “What is the goal?” She asked, already knowing the answer, already knowing the stakes. “To know where your loyalty begins, and where it has to end,” Elias finished for her. “You’ll need more than your brain to win this,” Elias continued. “If you don’t understand that now, you never will.”

Legacy: The Forgotten World

I questioned. “Yes.” She laughed. “Very much so. Oh how I wished that I could get to spend time with you and know you, my newer self but I cannot. Time has ran out and our world is in jeopardy. Both of our worlds. You need to defeat Mazikeen but for that to happen, we need to go back to the beginning because for the future to be safe once more, the genesis of it all has to be known. Are you ready?” She asked. I nodded my replied. I have been ready ever since I started this journey.

BEGIN AGAIN

BEGIN AGAIN

I am so into the story that I don't notice someone come my way, until a chair is pulled back. Glancing and seeing Beverley take a seat, my mood instantly changes. What could she want now? " I'm not the easiest person to understand or get along along with - I mean, I don't know how to do this, I never learnt how to do it." She speaks, stumbling over her words. " What, being civil with someone?" I quirk my brow, my eyes on the book. " No, admitting that I was wrong and that I was being difficult." I sigh, placing my book down.

I have about 10 favorites on here so far, and this story is absolutely in the top 3 of that list. I absolutely loved this! I’m so happy with how everything transpired. The love that is portrayed in this story is unbelievable... Absolutely amazing job author. Any chance of a sequel to this, soon?!

The cursed mate's return

The cursed mate's return

“For now.” My stomach sinks. “You didn’t kill it.” She shakes her head. “You can’t kill something like that. You did the only thing possible.” I study her carefully. “Which was?” “Teach it,” she says. “And make it curious.” That doesn’t make me feel better. “You said it resets systems,” I remind her. “Civilizations.” “Yes,” she agrees. “When they stagnate.” Kael’s voice is sharp. “Define stagnate.”

The Day She Stopped Waiting

Then: "It made a choice." The city suddenly changed. The beautiful towers cracked. The lights dimmed. The streets emptied. The sky darkened. Then screams echoed across the world. Then the group saw it. The eye. Not imprisoned. Not sealed. Free. Watching the world. Watching the city. Watching everything. Then the vision accelerated. Years passing in seconds. Wars. Chaos. Destruction. The First Civilization collapsing. Then Ava stared. Then: "They lost." The Keeper nodded.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.
