Booktok Door Frame Lean Novels & Stories

Sometimes they also keep them hungry. A blast echoes somewhere above, snapping me back into the present. The vault. The reinforced steel door has buckled but not collapsed. Smoke pours through the gaps around its frame. I wedge a crowbar beneath the edge and throw every ounce of strength into forcing it wider. It gives with a scream of tortured metal. But it is finally open. Inside, dozens of shelves have already fallen. Then I see it. A small metal lockbox, dented but intact beneath part of a collapsed cabinet.

I'd go find it later. "You okay?" I called through the door. Her handle jiggled, or tried to. "Umm. My door's stuck shut. Can you call a locksmith?" I frowned. "For what?" I looked down at the base of the door, which was a little out of alignment with the floor, dipping just a little at the knob side. I lifted upwards with my foot on that side and tried the knob. It opened easily, but the ancient pin holding the hinge together had snapped.

Something about the picture just didn't sit right with me. Just like Ma Levine had said, we finally reached the second floor where she had said my room would be. We walked down the long corridor, passing different doors before coming to one that looked to have been specially made differently from the rest. The door post bore complex designs, one that spoke of the majesty that laid behind the huge frame. The door itself looked as though it was created by some of the greatest craftsmen. It stood tall and wide, its top reaching at about seven feet in height. Its knob, made from brass, seemed to have been polished by the finest oil as it's surface mirrored the awed expression that I had on my fa

The visual break managed to hide the fact that the bottom two shelves of the left bookcase were shallower than the others. I knelt down in front of the bookcase and started to pull books out of the way. Once they were clear, I ran my hands along the surface of the wood paneling. I didn’t find any latches or buttons. I thought I could have been wrong until I felt a panel give slightly beneath my touch. I applied more pressure. There was a click and the panel popped outward. I tried to pull it open further but it ended up sliding back into the other panels. Revealing the compartment behind the case.

I search the room carefully, looking through shelves and drawers till I come across a candle stand sitting on the shelf. What's a candle stand doing on a bookshelf, with tons of books? Doesn't Killian worry about his books getting caught in fire? Unless…... I picked up the candle stand, and to my surprise, it only moved an inch, then a resounding click echoed in the room. I yelped, stumbling backwards when the shelf started moving. It shifts to the right, exposing a door behind it. So doors like these exist not only in movies? Curiosity got the better of me, so I twisted the doorknob and opened the door. It led to another room, well furnished and dimly lit.

"Greta hit the lockdown switch from upstairs." "Can you hit it hard enough to break the frame?" I asked, backing off from the table and keeping both hands pinned flat over the binder with my dad's papers. "Not from this side," he said, stepping back to check the iron frame set straight into the stone wall. "It's a bank vault door. It's built to take explosives without bending. If the panel upstairs stays locked, the pins don't drop." I looked around the small cellar room. Steel safety deposit boxes covered three of the walls, while dark server racks filled the back corner. No windows, no back doors, no fire exit. Just one way in and one way out.

I couldn’t be more stunned to see it disappear right into the book with no trace of his blood on it before he puts his hand down. The sound of a door creaking catches my attention, and at the same time, there is Garrett who moves back. I suddenly see the supposed shelf folding together as the creaking sound continues. Eventually, the shelf of books has been put aside to reveal a sort of door which had a polished color. I was amazed by the quality of the door which has a lot of inscriptions on it, making me wonder how much work was put into it to make it work. “There goes the second barrier. I have no idea how to crack the code and that is where you come in,” Garrett catches my attention with

They've been going around in this circle for hours now, and it was starting to get a little tedious. I was currently leaning against the front door in Ike's living room, which was a total wreck, by the way. The door wasn't even attached, just leaning against the frame to cover the hole left by its absence. There was glass all over the kitchen, he'd fucked up his coffee table for good. The cushions on the couch looked like they'd been through a blender. He'd even ripped his books in half or thrown them against the wall. He had thrown a real, genuine hissy fit.

She said and shifted her hand fully into the room, then she started making her hand curve in a way that the torch could reach the ground and she could see what was actually happening. She didn't this for sometime and got tired then returned back to her previous position "I didn't see anything. Maybe we should try going into the house by ourselves so we could see what is truly going on with her. " She said to them. Immediately, I started hearing some pushing sounds from my door. They have started pushing. But the door didn't open. They had forgotten that the door wasn't made of cheap woods A door made with wood from Australian Buloke. They can't be serious right now. If they ever want to get

And instantly the hinges crack as stone dust falls from the frame. Just after the third impact, the door tears from its frame and crashes to the floor. BANG!!!
