Did you listen to my conversation with Veronica?” I asked. “Nope, they are just really easy to tell that it belongs to him,” he said, humming as he chewed his meal. “He gave me a strange book and he told me it was his favorite book as a child and that he loved them dearly, which is weird because the book is pretty boring and I could barely read past the first few chapters and they had those weird drawings I saw on the book.,” he answers.

… Elena POV… I eagerly opened its pages. As I flipped through the pages, I saw countless diagrams and illustrations of mythical creatures, spells, and potions. I searched through the pages, searching for any hint of a cure for the sickness that plagued my village. The illustrations were detailed, but the writing was cryptic and difficult to decipher. As I reached the end of the book, I came upon a page unlike any other. It was an intricate drawing of a carved stone with strange designs etched into its surface. The books are just like I remember them, better than the movies. I read the book To All the Boys I've Loved Before and the books after that. Watched the movie after. To my surprise I really liked them. I decided to look more at the Author of those books and see what other things she wrote. I ended up reading The Summer I Turned Pretty and the books after that.
