Young Adult fantasy is a thing...like a big deal, I noted reading through so interesting titles, but not the specific one I was looking for.

I pulled out the latest BookTok darling from my backpack—the one with the cover everyone was blushing over—and flipped to where I’d left off. The girl in the book was officially snowed in at a remote cabin with her hot, brooding not-uncle and his even hotter sons. It was chaotic, messy, probably deeply inappropriate—and I was all in. I’d just hit the chapter with the spicy scene. You know the one. A fireplace. A blizzard. Tension so thick it needed a crowbar. I took a long sip of my lavender drink and sank deeper into the fantasy. This? This was exactly what I needed.

Both the pre-ruin and the post-ruin, I wasn't ready for any of it. My movements came to a halt when my gaze flitted across the street and landed on the poster of the new Fantasy series I had been waiting on; All the Beautiful Things. It was a trilogy. But if shifters were more like the ones in these books, life would be a little more exciting in a pack. I wander around the bookstore until I found the fantasy section. Mystery and romance are nice but I like a good fight scene or two. I like my main character to be a badass or at least trained into being a badass. I read through a few s descriptions and decided on the perfect one. I headed up to the counter to make my purchase. The cashier had a bright smile and was very bubbly in the way she talked. "Hi! Did you find what you were looking for?" She gestured to the book.
