She had never been in the midst of so many books and she was totally awed. As she moved past the shelves, a particular book caught her attention. It was dark and larger than the rest. She pulled it out, coughing slightly from the dust that had collected on it. Tiny insects scurried out as she took the book to one of the couches and settled on it. Annabelle Hale;this is my book of shadows. "Interesting title",Caleb commented from beside her. She was just about to write on the parchment and show it to him when they heard a loud sound.

I somehow found myself reading back this book to try and get myself back into the story to get the motivation to write more of the sequel and it was shocking how many times I cringed reading this book back! I do forget that I finished Shy when I was 16 years old. Six years on, I think it's finally time to rewrite and update this book so I can read it without cringing so horribly at 16 year old me. I hope by rewriting this it will get me back into the story and I can continue to write more updates for Defeated. In the meantime, enjoy the rewritten version of Shy called 'Shy (Rewritten)'! It will be updated bit by bit and will not be uploaded all at once! But I hope you like it!

Perfect. As I flipped through the chapters, the story heated up fast. The protagonist, a shy librarian much like me, was cornered in the stacks by a dominant stranger. His hands roamed her body without mercy, fingers teasing her nipples until they ached, then dipping lower to claim her wetness. I shifted on the couch, feeling that familiar tingle between my legs. God, why did these books always get me so worked up? My thighs pressed together instinctively, seeking friction.

Alyssa exclaimed after seeing all the things on a particular page. "What Is it, Alyssa?" Asked Berk worried. "Don't worry Berk everything is going to be fine, let's go," replied Alyssa as she keeps the book on the floor. "Are we done?" Berk asked surprised. "Yes we are," Alyssa replied and they both left the room. As soon as they turned and left the room, the book closes back by itself, and the book cover reads; 'THE BOOK OF SHADOWS' and then the book disappears. . .

She walked straIght to thShes book that was pulled out further than the rest. She tried to blow soher of the dust off and all that managed to do was send her Siento a sneezSheng fShet. She pulled the book out and looked at the cover. She could tell She was an old book; She looked lIke She could crumple to a mShell Shion Sheets at any theher. She wiped off the front cover but there was nothIng on Sheet. No tItle or author or pIcture; nothSheng.

I shook my head and walked over to the small shelf above the fireplace. My fingers sorted through the books until they settled on an orange-covered book with the words XXX XXX XXX written on it. I bring it back to the sofa, keeping River company as he returns to his tablet. A few minutes later, our cups were empty, and my heart was suddenly beating faster than it should. I put the book down on my lap, then looked up at River, who I could tell from the look on his face that he was also feeling strange in his body.
