Waiting For Patry

Waiting For Patry

I said and twinkled my eyes. She shook her head at what I said. "Have pity on your clubmates. They might come early and fix up your booth while you're still lying here. What did you talk about in the meeting?" "We'll go at 10 am and open the booth. We'll just catch the violators so it's okay. The lower years don't know what the booths will be so they'll be surprised when we catch them." I said and she seemed to give up and just nodded.

The Stranger Who Stayed:When Fate Knocks Once

The Stranger Who Stayed:When Fate Knocks Once

They stood in the reading room at six o'clock. The library had been open for nine hours. The first Tuesday of August, the civic calendar's beginning, the letter delivered to the first of its strangers. In those nine hours: two hundred and fourteen people through the covered approach. Not a large opening-day number — not the event attendance, not the formal-occasion crowd. The ordinary two hundred and fourteen: the people who had been using the temporary location and transferred their habit to the permanent building, the curious who had seen the announcement, the ones who had come without particular purpose because the library was on their route and it was open and they went in.

THE SWITCH: 100 DAYS OF ME AND YOU

THE SWITCH: 100 DAYS OF ME AND YOU

Then he walked to the first booth and felt the tabletop. Grayham turned to me with a smile. “Looks like an actual booth now,” I smiled. There were four chairs placed around each table. Two on each side which means that a booth would accommodate four persons. Then he strode to the first cubicle and studied the computer stand. “Amazing!” Grayham professed. The interior decorations will begin by tomorrow and once it’s done, I’m not sure if the locals can recognize this place anymore. He turned. “I bet they won’t,”

"I guess, although I never saw it whenever I visited them. It was up in the attic behind a stack of cartons. I know this sounds crazy but sometimes when I look at it I get the feeling it's looking back at me." Mike gave her quizzical look. "Yeah? Interesting." Before she had a chance to ask him what he meant by that he was at the front door, looking back at Jamie. "You planning to decorate tonight?" "No. I'm taking the day off tomorrow. My assistant and the volunteers work on Halloween and I work a Sunday for each of them." Mike frowned. "The library is open Sunday?" "Only once a month." Her lips thinned. "We used to be open seven days a week but budget cuts did us in."

The Space Between Moons

The Space Between Moons

And in the main hall, the notice board carried its weekly announcements — patrol rotations, pack calendar, the community gathering on Friday, and the standing line at the bottom that had been there since Rhett Calloway's first week in Crescent Ridge: Open council hours: Tuesday, 9–12. Followed, in new print, in the same clean font: Pack legal advocate: Ivory Voss. Available by appointment. She didn't see it until she walked past the board at noon. She stopped. Read it. The print was clean and official and entirely without drama, the way things were in this pack, under this Alpha. Just information, plainly stated. A name. A function. An availability. She stood there for a moment.

Yes Sir: Steamy BL Shorts

Yes Sir: Steamy BL Shorts

The rain was hitting the tall windows of the Cedarville Public Library like handfuls of gravel. Owen sat at the front desk, scrolling through the late return fees on his computer monitor, the blue light reflecting off his wire-rimmed glasses. It was 8:47 PM on a Friday. The library stayed open until nine on Fridays, a policy Owen had never understood. Nobody came in on Friday nights. Nobody except the rain and the quiet.

Just let me be a cannon fodder

Just let me be a cannon fodder

’ Nova said whilst looking around and staring at food displayed by the other booths. “So it was on Christmas.” I said to myself as I pulled out a protein bar inside my bag and opened it. This was the cheapest thing I can find in the snack booth I bought from earlier. When we approached the Prison booth, we could already see a couple of people inside the jail cells and a long line of people waiting to bail out their partners. The prison booth occurs every three hours and closes at 11 PM; We can see Richard walking away from the booth table and Natalie opening the cell and letting out a person after receiving a donation.

Dangerous Pleasures

Dangerous Pleasures

Everyone always left me. I'm not sure how I got through the last hours of the fair that day. Booths had to stay open and manned until eight PM. It was one of the rules in the god awful paperwork I'd had to read. But the second it ticked to the required hour, I dropped the front of the booth and took off. I needed to think, to decide what to do.

Fell For My Ex's Brother In Law

Fell For My Ex's Brother In Law

I fumble in my purse and pull out the badge, holding it out. The man's expression clears immediately. "Of course!" he says, sounding warm and kind. "Please, Dr. Prism, do come in. In the future, please feel free to come right in. The door is unlocked at 6 a.m. and is open until 11 p.m. every day. You'll only need to knock if you're called in during off hours." "Thank you," I say, following him into the building. "I'm sorry for the confusion."

I am loving this book!!! The plot is different from other werewolf plots and the character development is awesome!! You really love the characters you should and really hate the ones you wish would get what’s coming for them. I love all your books too! Keep it up!

I can’t wait to read more. I wasn’t thrilled about her accepting a jail sentence, but people have done crazier things. Glad to see the female character evolving and growing up. Just the right edge to keep you coming back for more

If that's so, then he's not what I had thought. "Oh, that's great! Then we should go and talk to him." Tessa claps and smiles. "Yeah, definitely. We should go right now." Alex adds. "Yea-ahhh." I fake excitement. "But don't you both think it's too late now? Well, the library must be closed by now." "It's 9 p.m Cinn! The library stays open till midnight. We should go right now and talk to- what is his name?" "Branson. "
