Sara's POV Friday finally approached - I was so bored. I was so beyond bored with this always repeating work and those simple tasks. Print the papers. Design the layout of the papers. I let out a breath I hadn’t realised I was holding, my mind still spinning from everything that had just unfolded. *** The rest of the day dragged on, each hour blending into the next as I aimlessly scrolled through my phone in bed. At some point, boredom led me to the living room, where I flipped through endless TV channels, barely paying attention to anything playing. Frustration bubbled inside me as I stared at my unanswered messages. I had tried texting Bash, hoping he’d come around again, but the silence on his end made it clear—he was either busy or just not interested. Either way, the boredom was unbearable.

His eyes were bristling with anger while he said this because he couldn’t tolerate Caroline’s rude behavior. “You have time to decide till tomorrow! And if your answer is NO then you can tell me RIGHT NOW!” “I never said my answer is NO. I’ll think and tell by tomorrow.” Caroline rushed out of the office with attitude as she yelled at my dad. ***** “What a dumb human! Money cant buy happiness??? Money can buy anything! And if you have money then why do you need happiness anyways. These emotions/feelings are such a waste of time!” Caroline mumbled in anger in her office.

It didn’t make any sense to me. They were lacking in social amenities and basic needs, but I could see that they don’t care about it, or they weren’t aware of what they could have, instead of rolling in their own downfall. I decided to explore more. It wasn’t really my cup of tea, but I was still intrigued. I was drawn in by their situation, that I couldn’t bring myself to turn back and hide in the mansion. There was this small shop that caught my eye. Barden’s Stories were written in bold letters atop the small shop. “Read and delve in your imagination” was written underneath it in cursive.
