Novel & Cerita Braces Headgear Stories

He went ahead of me, to the jeep while I went to our designated start line, waiting for the command to run. “Wait Vi, I have something for you.” Brian said, and deposited a small parcel wrapped in leather in my hands. “It'll help.” The parcel contained a pair of leather gloves, a fur mask that would cover my nose, and a woolly cap for my head. My heart pulsed in pain again. I should stay, but what I was doing with Brian wasn't living. I steeled my resolve. I pulled on the gloves and mask, and I tucked my hair under my cap. I was wearing the coat he made me as well. I would carry these pieces of him along with me, and it would have to be enough.

It's more like latex sticking to my curves. I don’t feel exposed or restricted from breathing normally. I feel armed. Prepared. But with no inkling of what to expect. Strangely, the feeling thrills me more than it worries me. My hair is pulled up into a firm crown-braid and adorned with simple silver clips shaped like dragon talons. No necklace. No earrings. Just the braid and the black combat leathers outfit. Done, I breathe out deeply and adjust a few things like the collar and removing something stuck in my right eye.

Heather said, standing brushing herself off. “You’re next,” said Chris, turning to Francis. “Heather, do you have any hair ties on you right now?” “Yeah, I do,” Heather said, removing the one from her hair. “Why do you need one?” Chris grabbed the hair tie and removed his face protection. “Damn hair’s too long and I can’t see sometimes,” replied Chris, tying his hair back. “Not gonna lie, you look good with your hair pulled back,” Heather said. “Quit lying. I know it looks ridiculous.” Chris pulled the mask over his head again and walked to his spot in the arena.

Yara I race to the banister, watching as Warren gracefully shifts into Arric. If I wasn’t looking for it, wasn’t paying attention, I wouldn’t have seen him flinch. Dammit! I knew that leg wasn’t healed enough to shift. “I’ll have to start all over again,” I mumble as I grab a pair of shorts and put them on as I race down the stairs. I quickly pull my hair up into a ponytail, tying it in knot which will have to do for now.

My hair flowed down past my shoulders in luxurious brown ringlets that gave me a boost of confidence. Bram had a deep forest green shirt paired with his black cloak and a twinned gold and silver brooch. I admired the intricate embroidery of wolves and forestry as we walked, “why do you have such a different cloak to everyone else, is it a tradition?” I asked in a friendly tone.

I brushed the fur from my teeth. Combing my hair was a little harder. If I had something to pull my hair back with, the bald spot most likely wouldn’t show. No such luck and it would probably cause a more severe headache than I already suffered. My sudden sense of vanity needed to take a flying leap into the cold dark pit it had come from. I pulled an old familiar t-shirt from the bag and gently brought it over my head. Panties and shorts next. This was the best I could do. There was a bra in the bag but I needed more sleep and hated wearing a bra to bed. Concussions weren’t for sissies. I opened the door and found Brack sitting at the table with his head propped on his hand.

The man proceeds to hit her with the helmet, making her fall to the floor. “Gynith!” Jossie screams, but Briar kicks her back. “Shut up, you.” He walks over to the men, standing over us in case any of us starts to move. With a soft smile on his face, he watches the men turn the helmets over their hands and unstick the small circular device. They hand it over to Briar’s waiting hand.

She'd decided to go with whatever they say and escape when the opportunity struck—she only hoped her family would stop worrying, wishing there was a way to tell them she was alright. Learning meant having extra training and there Roxie was, dressed in a pair of black leggings and a tank top, her feet were bare and her black hair held up in a messy tail and in front of her was Kaizen in a red sweatshirt that matched his eyes and joggers and surrounded them were padded walls, and high-impact, shock-absorbing flooring. The pack house contained everything.

She moves for my headdress. “Uh-huh. Mama taught me and my sisters all the braids.” Maddie gently moves the red fabric over my head. It covers the braid entirely, and I can’t help but feel a little sad about it. No one but me can see how much work she put into it. But then they’ll see my hair if I don’t wear it. I curl my fingers on the hem. I decided it’s better to keep it on. I’m sorry, Maddie. I curl the hem tighter in my hands. Maddie must have noticed because her hands stop to rest on my shoulders.

He shook his head as he looked up at her with concern written in her eyes. “Sorry, just a memory.” He spoke gently. “Your hair looks way better down you know.” “I know,” She blushed. She grabbed the end of her braid and pulled it over her left shoulder. She played with the tip in her fingers. “I have just always had it up, it’s difficult to wear it down.” “He asked you to wear it up didn’t he?” “Yes, said it was always everywhere. The only way to stop it was to put it up.” That wasn’t all. After the accident the nurses used to braid it for her to help keep it out of the way.
