Penny woke to hear the steady fall of rain on the roof and the spatter of heavy drops against the window pane. The room was filled with sombre grey light but she could not be sure whether the dawn was breaking or if the storm were responsible for the darkness. But it did not matter. Nothing mattered except Jeremy.

Then a deep husky voice says, 'I don't think there's anyone in here. Instantly, another deep voice adds, 'Let's break down the door to check, boss. They could be hiding in here.' My eyes widen in shock and fear washes all over me. If they break the door down tonight, I will never be the same...they will surely harm me. 'Oh, shit!' I curse silently.

However, if he thought this could still threaten me now, he was wrong. Looking at the stubborn, almost smug expression on his face, I replied calmly, “It doesn’t matter. You have more than one mom anyway.” Spencer froze at my reply. He opened his mouth, a little flustered, and his eyes shimmered, as though tears were about to fall. Suddenly, he exploded. He yanked off the chain hanging around his neck and threw it straight into the ocean, bursting into tears. “I don’t want you anymore! You’re an evil woman!”

She had finally broken him. ** She woke up the next morning only because her phone was vibrating. She had slept well. She went down for breakfast. "So, had a good night I presume,huh? My angel." Her uncle said. "Oh but how could she not? There was a prince in her room." Aunt Viv chimed in making her blush. "Stop it you nosy old people." They all laughed. "I'm going to have to thank Beau then. Whatever he did worked like magic." Drew said.

Lucy couldn’t help the blush that covered her face at his burning gaze. Continuing from where they stopped, none of them knew how they became naked underneath each other. "Daisy, apologize to Hazel." It was such a simple sentence. But in that moment, something shattered inside Daisy. I watched the light in her eyes go out completely. I knew then that Connor's last chance was gone.

Dwyn and Jezin shared one. The remaining one was left on this floor as a backup. Honestly, whether the candles were divided or not didn’t really matter. Everyone knew the blackout was something the production team had staged. So once enough time had passed, the power would obviously come back on. Sure enough, just after everyone returned to their rooms, the electricity was restored. I immediately covered the camera, took another shower, and went to sleep. Just past midnight, Episode Three came to a perfect close. Teams from each side arrived to pick people up.

Dawn broke over the forest like a wound opening across the sky. I watched it from where I had collapsed, my back against a moss covered stone, my body too exhausted to move and my heart too broken to care. The night had passed in fragments of tears and numbness, moments of raw agony followed by stretches of emptiness where I felt nothing at all.
