As the first rays of dawn painted the sky in hues of orange and pink, the werewolf pack gathered in the heart of Luka's territory, their eyes ablaze with determination. Ardolf, a towering figure with a mane of jet-black fur, exchanged a knowing glance with Brian, his trusted lieutenant. Athena, with her sleek silver coat and piercing amber eyes, stood by their side, ready for the impending battle. Behind them, the rest of their pack, a formidable force of loyal warriors, awaited the signal.

My nose twitched as I caught the scent of pine and orange. I narrowed my eyes but the maze of brambles made it difficult to see clearly. All I could make out was the outline of two people; one of them was probably a werewolf. My pace quickened as the faint sound of incantation fell in my ears. A few of the jutting thorns pierced through my skin as I forced them apart. Blood trickled down my palms but I didn’t have time to think about that. Struggling through the overgrowth, I managed to emerge into the open grassland.

I said and stood in front of him as I passed a glare to three men in front of me. How will I fight them? I'm still learning. At least I can hold them back and let the boy make a run. "We have some losers here, I see," I said and they laughed. "You are that bitch who betrayed our master." One of them said but I ignored him. These dumbass people have some dumbass mentality. I don't wanna bark along with them because Sebastian said we don't bark....we howl. Even though he doesn't know that I know he is a wolf. He talks about wolves with me because I had an encounter with them in my childhood and I'm kinda interested in them.

However, not long after Blake and I started training together, I had a huge reality check. First of all, most warriors start straight out of high school. While, at twenty years old, I wasn’t exactly an old geezer when I started, I’d definitely missed the prime bonding window. The thing is, our pack had only even begun allowing women to become warriors ten years ago, so the group was small and tight-knit, and it was a bit like missing rush I suppose.

"Maisie, why did you push me? I was only trying to get along with you." Percy hurried over to help Sabrina up. He gently stroked her hair, then turned and scolded me. "Maisie, why are you still picking on Sabrina without even asking what happened? She was just offering you some water. Why did you push her?" I was so done. Since when did offering someone water mean forcing it into their mouth? Sabrina was an idiot. Was Percy, too? Sabrina looked at Percy with those tearful eyes, sniffling as she spoke. "We have an important client to meet today. This is the only shirt I have. What am I supposed to do now?"

What in the Hills Have Eyes is that all about? And then finally, you’ve got Brandon Mayers. He is the top male warrior of our age and really is insanely strong considering he doesn’t have ranked blood - he came from the pack I was born in, Redwood Valley, but his mother submitted just like Hannah’s did, for the good of The Expansion. Helen Chan-Jones and Brandon’s mother are friends, and as far as The Populars go, he’s the only one with any decency, in my opinion.

BLADE 3. Pain. It was all I felt when I shot my eyes opened. I felt so sore and tired. The memories of how Lorenzo plunged deeper into me last night filled my mind. He was so cruel to me. I didn't find any enjoyment in it at all. I tried lifting my hands and I was happy It was back to functioning. My tit hurts too as a result of the sucking he did last night.

The warriors fought valiantly—clad in weathered leather and steel, swords flashing in disciplined arcs—but they fell in droves, bodies rent and steaming on the blood-soaked earth. Yet one figure dominated the chaos, a lone titan at the fray's heart. He stood unyielding amid the sea of claws and fangs, a whirlwind of lethal grace. Towering and broad-shouldered, his frame was forged for war, muscles rippling under scarred skin bared by a torn tunic. Long, raven-black hair whipped in the wind, streaked with grime and enemy blood, framing a face etched with grim resolve—high cheekbones, a jaw set like granite, eyes burning with unquenchable fire. From the ridgeline beyond the eastern bluff, a new line of warriors crested the rise. Hundreds. Maybe more. And at the front—bloodied, scarred, taller than she remembered— “Bree,” Caitlyn breathed. He was alive. He was here. And he was leading an army of wolves they’d all believed were long gone. Bree lifted a hand, signaling. “EXILES,” he bellowed. “WITH ME!” And the cliffs exploded. The exiled werewolves launched down the slope like a second tidal wave—fangs bared, claws drawn, voices lifted in a deafening roar.

Brendon's POV: It's not my job to remember everyone's names in the pack. But, I took it upon myself to at least learn important faces I would need to command on cue. Eli, Jordan, Mateo, Atlas, Issac, Eloise, Issabella, and Maeve. The eight of them had this vampire pinned down. These were my top strongest warriors for the pack. The ones I trained with- and a few I even learned from. Their combat skills in and out of shift was incredible. But, Pinning down this vermin was even tough for them. They held it and stuck his hand out into the sunlight. His skin burned as it touched the last beam of light.
