The king of Ashes

The king of Ashes

“I deserve every bit of it. But don’t ever think I doubt your strength, Angel. You are the only thing in this godforsaken life that has ever made me believe that a man like me is capable of redemption.” As the fire finally died down to a bed of glowing red embers, casting a golden halo around us, the ghosts of the treaties, the Falcon, and her mother's sins seemed to fade into the corners of the room. The scars of our pasts were still there, carved deeply into who we were, but for the first time in a very long time, the wounds had stopped bleeding. I kissed the top of her head, resting my chin against her soft hair as the last of the winter wind howled harmlessly against the heavy glass wind

The tension between Alessandro and Isabella is ... right from the start, and I love how she’s defiant instead of just scared. It’s steamy, full of power plays, and already has some crazy drama going on. Only a few chapters in, but it’s addictive…def giving me those late-night read. 4.5/5 so far.

TILL SIN DO US APART: A TABOO TALE OF LUST AND DESIRE

TILL SIN DO US APART: A TABOO TALE OF LUST AND DESIRE

“This—us—it’s not sin. It’s love. Holy in its own way. You don’t need forgiveness from anyone but yourself.” Tears fell, mixing with the water. “I love you,” I confessed, the words freeing something deep inside. “You’ve saved me.” She smiled, soft and real. “I love you too, angel. And I’ll corrupt you every day if that’s what it takes to keep you.” In her arms, with the crucifix watching from the wall, I found my absolution. Not in prayer, but in her touch. In our sin. In our salvation.

His Broken Angel

His Broken Angel

Flaming metallic scrapes rained down the sky and a pungent smell of burning flesh poisoned the air. The river flowing under the destroyed bridge was caught in red feiry blazes. The explosion had completely wiped out Blaine and his men's existence. It was an extremely distressing sight. Angela didn't dare to look over his shoulder and take in the massive destruction he had just unleashed. She knew it would haunt her forever if she did. She kept her gaze down not even meeting his eyes. Silent tears trickling down her cheeks.

The cheaters are never truly punished for their adultery and the plot just kind of treats it as something completely justified and pushes the reader to see them as victims. The only person who got screwed over by everyone for no reason was the FL, and she's still forced by the plot to forgive.

Alpha Angel

Alpha Angel

Angel adjusted the box she was holding under one arm and placed her free hand on her hip, looking at him with disgust for a moment before her face began to fall. “Don’t bother making promises you can’t keep and besides, it’s too late anyway.” The sadness in her voice might have been enough to tell Layon how she felt but it was in that moment that he saw a flash of memory in his mind’s eye, a woman who looked much like Angel but slightly older, a woman who was no longer around. The color drained from Layon’s face as he suddenly remembered Angel’s mother and how she had taken her own life shortly after her husband was banished, leaving Angel alone in the Alpha pack.

Daddies And Their Naughty Angel

Daddies And Their Naughty Angel

My veins pumped with venom so thick I felt it would kill me. “And then I found something.” I inhaled raggedly. “With Daniel, I found someone who wanted me. Who chose me. He made me feel like I was the most important thing in the world. And you couldn’t stand it. So you burned him alive and dragged me back here to this—this pink fucking tomb—” “Angel—” “I DIDN’T ASK TO BE SAVED!” The words ripped out of me so violently my throat burned. “I was HAPPY. For the first time since you threw me away, I was happy, and you destroyed it because you couldn’t handle someone else having what you gave up!”

Hey! I've been reading the novel so far, and finished 50% of it and I'm loving it so much. You might consider changing Angle’s look on the cover to match her look in the novel cause I kept imagining her with black hair and blue eyes all along, which would help even future readers.

Broken Wings

Broken Wings

“We seed panic on two fronts. Hanlon thinks the wolves are at his door, Vesnik’s empire starts cracking from the inside... And Riko’s crew? They’ll start wondering who’s really pulling the strings.” Morgan exhaled, already bracing for the chaos to come. “Jesus. Remind me never to play chess with you.” Reyes didn’t smile. “It’s not chess, Morgan.” He stared at the board again. “It’s war.” … The dim glow of a streetlamp flickered over Beckett’s hunched figure as he stood beside a rundown phone booth off Farrow Street—out of sight, out of comfort, and far from any patrol routes. The burner phone in his hand felt heavier than it should’ve. Reyes had given it to him an hour ago with just four wor

His Broken Angel

His Broken Angel

Claire turned and looked at Arsen, who had been staring at her intently the whole time. “Because after that, they will improve themselves, just as those red leaves will fall, replaced by a new, more mature and stronger spirit,” Claire continued with a faint smile on her lips. Arsen was stunned by her words. He immediately recalled how his father had treated him all this time, causing his eyes to well up with tears without him realizing it. “Believe me, no matter how great a person’s mistakes may be, they will change for the better with God’s intervention. Life is beautiful if we view it with an open and objective mind,” Claire continued, causing a single tear to roll down Arsen’s cheek uncon

Fated Vengeance: A Mate's Reckoning

Fated Vengeance: A Mate's Reckoning

We drove the dagger and shard into the ground, light erupting, the cage shattering, the mirror collapsing, the void’s scream—my scream—mixing with hers, the shadow’s, as they vanished, not gone but pushed back, the chaos retreating, the cliffs stilling. We fell, Lucian catching me, Lyra beside us, the bond burning—us, alive, together. Killian and Mara staggered up, bloodied, wide-eyed. “Another one?” Killian gasped, his staff broken, his face pale. “How many damn Angels are there?” I clutched the dagger, the mark pulsing, Lyra’s shard glowing, the bond steadying me. “Four,” I said, my voice hoarse, the truth crushing me. “Lock, spark, flame, void. The Veil’s not just breaking—it’s us.”

My mate's betrayal

My mate's betrayal

The banshee fell to the ground, then began to shake and vomit thick, disgusting black blood. “Your blood does affect these things,” Aisha said. “This is incredible.” The banshee began to dry up, and I sighed. Out of nowhere, the river began to boil, people began to scream, and all the wolves fled the scene. It was clear that something really bad was happening, something very, very bad. But I never expected the sky to tear open and several angels, in battle formation, to fly toward the river. The banshees began to swim away, but the angels pierced them with arrows filled with divine power, and one by one they faded away with unusual brutality.

THE FALLEN ANGEL AND THE VAMPIRE

THE FALLEN ANGEL AND THE VAMPIRE

I went to check on Seb, I was pretty sure he couldn't die out of that. "But why is his car... burnt here?" I brooded with my finger patting my chin dearly. I didn't know when I rushed back into my car and rev up. I could only notice that the place I was going was nowhere but Nina's home. I halted my car forcefully in front of their house and the aura I met didn't seem nice. I pushed my door outward and I almost detach it when I saw their home broken down. I rushed inside after calling her name uncountable times. I couldn't catch an aroma of a human in that house. So I rushed back sharply and got back inside my car. I had no idea what was going on so...I ceased for some moment as I was going
