⫘☠︎︎⫘ Adriano ⫘☠︎︎⫘ My left eye was gone to darkness, swollen shut so bad I couldn’t even force it open. Every breath burned like glass tearing through my ribs. My jaw felt split in two, bone grinding against bone every time I clenched my teeth to stop myself from groaning. I knew it was fractured, but I refused to give him the satisfaction of a sound.

I kind of wish my subconscious would knock my ass out and make me forget. They’d had to do surgery on her again. By now the poor girl was half way to robot with all the pins and rods and screws she had. She had broken her ankle in the wreck .. or .. we think that’s when it happened. They had to put a pin in it. Now both her legs had them. Her kneecap had been busted. She had a concussion, her tailbone had a crack in it. If this wasn’t so serious I could make a fucking joke at that.

We were bruised. Shaken. Bent out of shape. But not broken. Not even close.

“And it looks like you’re doing that, so…” “You leaving is what hurt me!” I seethe, anger sinking its claws deeper into me at his pathetic justification for his actions. “And I’m not damaged, Callum, I’m broken! You broke me!” My voice cracks, my chest heaving as I shake my head, fresh tears springing to my eyes. My gaze flutters down to the pavement, my voice dropping to barely a whisper. “You broke me in ways that I didn’t even know were possible.” Callum’s throat clicks with a hard swallow, his shoes scuffing against the ground as he steps closer. “Ness…”

He frowned deeply. “What?” Nora asked in a whiney voice. “Sorry.” Was all Dante said as Wyatt walked in. “Bad news, the splint needs to be readjust and the bones aren't lined up. It's a pretty bad break.” Wyatt said his fine showing that he was sorry. “Shit.” Nora groaned. She took a few deep breaths and then looked at Wyatt calmly. Wyatt raised an eyebrow at her. “Ok let’s do it.” Nora said, holding her arm out to him.

Frances found herself falling into the same holographic whorl she saw last night, and like a leap-fall, she was jolted out of bed. She got up and looked to her right. The watch laid there, no hologram nor any sound emanated from it. The time was 6:30 am, and she was expected at work by 8:00 am. It was at that moment she understood the whole process of getting her early to work. Though she was grateful to the boy for gifting her the watch, she felt the jolt was a bit too startling.

His voice dropped, almost begging. “Georgia… don’t tell me you’ve fallen for him. Don’t tell me after everything we’ve been through, you’re picking him.” My lips parted, but no words came out. My silence was its own confession. Henry’s face crumpled, pain flashing beneath his rage. For a moment, he looked less like the man who wronged me and more like the broken boy who feared losing everything. But then the mask returned. His pain twisted into something darker. He turned on Donald, his voice dropping to a growl that sent shivers running down my spine.

I stopped and looked back, puzzled. Seeing the complete lack of recognition in my eyes, Sarah finally broke down, tears streaming down her face. I frowned, got into the car waiting by the curb, and left without hesitation. In the rearview mirror, Sarah's figure, crouched by the roadside sobbing, gradually shrank and disappeared.

Like I hadn’t broken apart piece by piece just hours ago. Then it all came back. His voice. His words. You’re a mistake. I’ll reject you. You’re mine. My stomach twisted violently, a sharp, sickening lurch that made my ribs ache. I pushed myself up slowly, wincing as pain flared through my ankle like fire. A quiet hiss escaped my lips, my fingers gripping the mattress to steady myself. The oversized shirt slipped slightly off one shoulder, exposing cold skin that prickled instantly. I didn’t fix it. Didn’t care.

She then pushed Lucas's shoulder to get up from above her, and after that, Luna tried to get out of bed. "Okay, if you're so sure about your feelings, then we should break up before my feelings for you grow deeper. If we break up now, I can easily forget you and try to rebuild my life from scratch." *Ding* For some reason, Luna's words about breaking up sent a jolt of pain through Lucas's chest, making his heart pound loudly. He fell silent as he pondered over all of Luna's words.
