Also, I read about that book—it was psychotic to the point that I'm going to be stressed just by reading the novel from chapter one to chapter five hundred. Damn.” Eve complained while pouting, making Evelyn's eyes widen as she looked at her. “What's the ending? No, the plot?” Evelyn asked but Eve cheekily smirked at her.

Evelyn's POV The morning after the gala was quiet, but it was a heavy kind of quiet. I sat in the glass-walled breakfast nook of the villa, sipping a cup of black coffee.
