The bottom of the page was torn out and only the top remained, reading the subheading was torturous for me “BREAKING THE MATE BOND” read the heading of the now nonexistent spell, I almost cried as I read it multiple times. A few times I read it in disappointment, then anger, then more disappointment and then finally in tears. I continued sobbing as I went through the rest of the book in tears and absolutely no hope until I reached the second of the last page in the book. The spell read “delaying the development of a witch without a mate”, when I saw that page I jumped up for joy and at the same time the door bell rang.
