A butterfly with its red wings flew into the territory of Waltz Castle. It kept flapping its wings towards the pavilion it was in. Then perched on the vines that filled the wall. The butterfly was silent there, enjoying the breeze that slightly shook its wings. But when this butterfly heard the sound of falling leaves, this butterfly instantly flapped its wings again, flying towards the roof of the pavilion. Through a small gap that was only fit for it, this butterfly flew into the pavilion. It was very dark inside, only the light from the slit roofs shone in there. This butterfly kept flying and perched on the hand of a man sleeping there.

Chloe announced to her assembled classmates, "we are going to learn about the life cycle of the painted lady butterfly. Anya, please distribute the coloring sheets." Anya handed out the pages with the efficiency of a seasoned assistant. "I colored mine already. I used purple." "Butterflies aren't purple," one of the boys protested. "Some butterflies are purple," Chloe said firmly. "The purple emperor butterfly is native to Europe and parts of Asia. It's very rare." "How do you know that?" "I read books. You should try it sometime."

If anything, he presses deeper, adding a third finger, stretching me in that delicious way that makes my breath hitch. “Ahh–fuck Dante, it’s so f-full” “Easy, butterfly,” he murmurs, soothing. “I’ve got you. Just feel. I’ve waited too long to rush this.”

“It’s a umbrella for you. Butterfly wings are big enough to keep out the rain.” Jenny took the piece of paper in her hands. The paper made a “rustling” sound as it moved between her fingers. The crayon colors left marks on her fingerprints—pink, blue, brown, green—standing out sharply against her pale skin. She looked down at the butterfly. Its wings were pink, with asymmetrical patterns: three dots on the left wing and two on the right. The butterfly’s body was brown, and its antennae were blue, bending to form two question-mark-shaped arcs on the paper.

The butterfly landed briefly on a broad leaf, wings opening and closing like breath. “Whoa,” he whispered. “Did you see that?” Bobby crouched beside him, careful not to crowd. “That’s a blue morpho,” she said. “They look bright like that when they fly, but when they close their wings, they disappear.” Christopher frowned. “Disappear?” She nodded. “The outside is blue. The inside is brown, like bark. It’s how they survive.” The butterfly lifted again, the blue momentary and electric, then vanished into shadow.

Not the butterflies…oh no , no , no… The emotions ; the feeling of lust , love , happiness , content and fear. How they wish they could be lit alive like this. Briefly….briefly they are alive until , collapsing to once again an emotionless void. The butterfly tingles are something that activates these emotions ; it is almost like a learnt behavior. It’s the fear , the fear controls them ; it’s the stimulus that makes my emotions react. At least I know my emotions still work ; nevertheless , it has it’s defects.

, she began. “Breathe life into these butterflies, make them soar”, Dawn finished. As they chanted, their eyes turned blue. The windchime glowed briefly and a wind gently blew through the room, rustling their clothes and hair. The insects wing’s fluttered before they took off one by one. Together Lena and Dawn made the butterflies fly around the room in wonderful formations. “This is cool”, the younger witch breathed, watching the magic with both wonder and amazement. “You think this is cool, then you’ll really love this”, Lena said “pompa”, she uttered, the rough name for ‘fireworks’ in Latin. Dawn jumped as the butterflies exploded with bursts of colour.

But no answer comes back, only silence and the rustle of leaves. Confused, I scan the green expanse around me. “What butterfly?” I mutter, anxiety prickling beneath my skin. There isn’t one—at least, not yet. But then, as if summoned by my words, a shimmer appears in the air. Blue and silver light coalesces, swirling and folding itself into delicate wings. Suddenly, before me, a butterfly materializes, impossibly vivid, its colors gleaming like polished gemstones. It hovers a few feet away, its movements graceful and deliberate.

Soheila asked as she glanced away from the three and looked at Luna. “I got a Poisonous Venom Butterflies. A blue one and I named it Venom.” Luna said. “I put it in a cage since I haven't tamed it yet ” “Butterflies? That's the first time J heard about a butterfly being cultivator's spirit companion.” Soheila said. Nevertheless, she was shocked to find out that all of her roommates got Ultra Rare spirit beasts and birds. “Yes, it has a queen. The queen had a brighter color and larger size.”

I tried setting it free, but I didn't expect what I saw next. The butterfly floated into the sky amongst the different bulbs of mystical lights that hung all around in the empty space. Then it flew into the heavy phosphorescence and grew as big as a magnified butterfly in a camera, covering a vast majority of the empty space. Its colours shone brighter and more beautiful than any rainbow I'd ever seen. It flew back to face me, then burst into little, pebbles of sparks, engulfing my whole being. At a point, I'd already accepted what I was seeing to be only just a dream, however, turning back to see my cousin, I began to contemplate.
