Looking around I saw a knife in the fruit basket. Walking backwards to reach for it, he followed me and that's when I stabbed him on the stomach. Seeing him bleeding I panicked and got scared when he stared at me with angry blue eyes as he turned into a big bat. "Oh God! How would I trace his heart now. Why has he turned into a bat this time? Did he know I wanted to stab him on the chest? Did he somehow find about our plan? I panicked as I tried to think correctly. "No Artie, this isn't the right time to get scared. You have to be brave and strong so you can find out what these people are up to."I said to myself.

“Wow, Jo, that’s beautiful, I heard Lily’s comment. The Butterfly brooch, I admired the other day was nicely displayed in front of me. I looked again inside the box for a note, a card, but there wasn’t one. I took the brooch out of the box and looked closely. The engraved message left me speechless “Spread your wings and fly away but always come back to me”.

Melissa had much larger wings that were of a strange bluish green which was very unlike a monarch butterfly. Little Leah was still in Luna Malaya's arms with Sarah and Julian right next to them, looking at Freya in wonder. And then there was Freya, who had been the person to utter those strange butterflies. Her hand was raised towards the baby's face and suddenly, a bright blue smoke formed in her hands and as it rose, out came a beautiful blue butterfly, larger than any normal butterfly I had ever seen. A glittery dust came out of its wings that shore like diamonds in the light and it rose even higher, leaving behind a trail of glitter dust in its wave.

"Demi, how many times do I tell you don't stick out your tongue when you talk like that, its name is a butterfly." Gerald giggled, talking to his daughter. "Dad, as long as Demi says buththerfly, then buththerfly is unfair to the Princess." Damontry frowned as she gestured to her father with her small hand. "Okay, princess, don't be upset." Lauren said. While Lauren was busy making a few sandwiches for her little girl, Damontry crossed the line of protection without her parents, turning away a little and running after the colorful butterfly until she was stopped by a strange snarling that caused the butterfly to fly away.

Alex shouted, then he ran, to kill another vicious monster, playing inside their ground. Gloyd mustered his remaining strength and carried Ivan to fly immediately on the East, where the supposed butterfly monsters attacked. The butterflies' giant wings, covered in a combination of different colors luminate as they flew beautifully across the wall, attacking the team with its sharp feet. Gloyd stood for a moment and realized that he doesn't want the bird's wings anymore but the butterfly's.

For the first time, Raven hesitated. Small. Almost invisible. But I saw it. I leaned closer. "Be careful with assumptions, Raven. Sometimes, when you spend too long looking for monsters, you start seeing them everywhere." I walked away. When I returned to the café, Max was waiting outside. "Everything okay?" I looked at him. "Why do people keep asking me that?" "Because you keep looking like something's wrong." I smiled. "Maybe I just have that face." He didn't laugh. "Raven said something to you."

His hand lifted, hovered just inches from the handle. If he turned it , if he stepped inside there’d be no undoing it. Not this time. He could finish what they started. Bury himself so deep inside that mouth, inside that want, that for a few hours, he wouldn’t have to think about betrayal and bloodlines and wedding vows. He could forget. But the thing about monsters was they followed you, even after the lights went out. And Rafael already knew, no matter how hard he tried to kill this thing between them, it wouldn’t stay buried.
