Butterfly Scream Novels & Stories

The sound of that strange name drew my attention back to the group and what I saw next was nothing short of wondrous. Little Leah was still in Luna Malaya's arms with Sarah and Julian right next to them, looking at Freya in wonder. And then there was Freya, who had been the person to utter those strange butterflies. Her hand was raised towards the baby's face and suddenly, a bright blue smoke formed in her hands and as it rose, out came a beautiful blue butterfly, larger than any normal butterfly I had ever seen. A glittery dust came out of its wings that shore like diamonds in the light and it rose even higher, leaving behind a trail of glitter dust in its wave.

Grief stricken that I have to go. Braxton puts his arm around me and holds me close, his face in my hair. He holds me like that for a long moment, breathing me in as I inhale the scents of the garden around us. A butterfly whispers by on a breeze, it’s blue and black wings catching the sunlight and giving it a twinkle. A few more in various sizes and colors follow. To be that free, like the butterflies or the birds, to take off and fly wherever I want… any time I want… wouldn’t that be heavenly?

I switched on my phone and saw so many miscalls and a voice message from Butterfly on W******p. I promptly opened it and played the voice message. My heart shattered and my eyes breamed with tears as I heard her painful voice. "I'm sorry. Believe me, I had no intention to hurt you. At that time I just wanted to escape from your punishment. Your anger I deserve it, but please don't get disappear like this. I can't stay without you. Please don't give such a hard punishment to me. I promise I will never do this drama. Please, come back," as I heard her sorrowful sob, a lone tear trickled down my cheek mechanically. "Your butterfly is missing you so much. Please, forgive me." "I'm missing you to

It was iridescent blue—almost glowing as it captivated me. As my gaze traveled to the center, the blue took on a darkening gloss. Peering closer, I counted the wings and realized that this butterfly had five. “That’s the Blue Morpho Aurora,” Xavier said from behind me. “It’s a butterfly from South America.” “The wings are breathtaking.” “The shiny color is due to the way the light travels through the wing scales and gives off a metallic sheen.” I glanced over my shoulder. “So, you’re really into insects?" “Yes.”

’, her Lycan swoons. Caralyn rolls her eyes. ‘Or maybe I will be caught in the rain till my wings tear apart. Or I might be a lone insect who the other butterflies don’t want to play with,’ she pouts. Then, a wide smile gradually graced her lips. ‘I will be a very beautiful butterfly, though.’ Caralyn imagines herself as a beautiful, alluring butterfly, with her best colors as her wings: white and purple. ‘It will be an ethereal sight,’ she daydreams.

But no answer comes back, only silence and the rustle of leaves. Confused, I scan the green expanse around me. “What butterfly?” I mutter, anxiety prickling beneath my skin. There isn’t one—at least, not yet. But then, as if summoned by my words, a shimmer appears in the air. Blue and silver light coalesces, swirling and folding itself into delicate wings. Suddenly, before me, a butterfly materializes, impossibly vivid, its colors gleaming like polished gemstones. It hovers a few feet away, its movements graceful and deliberate.

She fell to the ground and groaned in pain. Both of her knees bleed. As she struggled to get up while enduring the pain, an insect was crawling on the backs of her hands. It startled her, making her unconsciously scream in a muffled voice. She, who had retreated reflexively, stumbled again on the creeping roots. She fell for the second time in the same place, but with her buttocks that hit the ground first. The sound was much louder than before. “Geez... ugh... what—” She halted at the sight in front of her. The shimmering blue light from the tiny wings of a butterfly flying low nearby stunned her.

She shouts very loud, and her voice becomes a sharp scream that anyone who has two ears or even one can hear her. Birds on the tress near her area flies all together and those soft animals runs away from there, who will not run-in panic if you hear that kind of noise like someone is in serious harm. But except for this group of hunters, who is now on their way to track where the scream was coming from. “It is now a hundred sure,” Flint is so happy upon hearing the scream. “The smoke yesterday was made of a human.” A smile curves on his lips that made Arose annoyed by it.

When she was younger, she frequently went on outings with her mother, during which time she got to witness a variety of stunning butterflies. She could still remember like it was yesterday how, whenever her mother sang with her clear voice, silver butterflies would appear out of nowhere. The sight of them always made Miren incredibly happy. These butterflies are called by Miren's mother's beautiful voice, and when the butterflies appear there will be a large swarm.

The butterflies were her gossip buddies and she was complaining to them about her rude and mean husband who had thrown her out of his room. A loud knock was heard, and the wild animals started roaring in the background. The smiling butterflies suddenly started crying and the earth started splitting from the very far end, slowly approaching her. She just sat at the same place, the cup still in her hand as she screamed out loud when the earth below her cracked and...
