Yara and Walter immediately used the Solar Disk mark to release fireballs and light up the dark. Inspired by what happened before, Yara focused on thinking about a fireball as big as the sun. Their surroundings turned even brighter. Even the zombies around them got frightened by the great ball of light, and they started to retreat. Yara could not help feeling proud about making use of what she had just learned.

So this thing is a key? Key to what? “Why is my mother showing us this and how many more keys are out there?” She didn’t answer me. She looked like she was thinking but didn’t bother to share her thoughts with me. So we just continued watching more of what the gem was showing us.

The sky above Moonstone Hollow erupted in a spectacular display of magical lights, dancing and twirling in patterns that left everyone breathless. As the light show continued, I noticed Lily cornering a group of my pack members, her eyes alight with excitement. I couldn't help but laugh when I heard her quickly explaining her newest magical research. The mix of interest and a bit of confusion on my pack faces was something anyone who had listened to one of Lily's excited talks would recognize.

The building's silhouettes suddenly became the dark night sky and the lights from their windows suddenly were twinkling. "Isn't that beautiful?" I asked when I saw a broken stoplight, the red light was blinking and the green and yellow once didn't seem to work. I thought it was aesthetically pleasing, under the gloom of the night, along the empty streets and silently passing cars. The slow blinking of that stop light seemed to harmonize with the quietness of the evening. I looked at Edgar and he was frowning at the stop light. "Pretty much could cause traffic, goodness, that should be fixed," he said and I rolled my eyes at him.

Cordelia wiped the sweat off his head and asked tenderly, "What happened?" "Mommy, look!" Zuko opened his palm. "Bugs, bugs!" Aurelia also looked over. It turned out that Zuko was not holding a real firefly but a small toy in the shape of it. "Bugs, bugs! It glows!" Aurelia smiled and teased him, "Little Mr. Zuko, fireflies don't glow during the day!" "Glow, glow!" Zuko stubbornly pointed at the tail of the firefly with a stubby finger.
