Are you insane? I’m not doing anything!” I stepped forward. “If this is a joke, Sasha, it’s not funny—people are dying!” “I swear it’s not me!” she cried, standing up.

She got in trouble alright. “I did”. She said. “Good, what did your billionaire have to say about it? Please don’t tell me he made excuses for the brat” Sasha said. A smile curved Alexa’s lips as she recalled what Calan had said, and she shook her head. “Actually, he asked me to dump my drink on her should I come across her and her attitude remained unchanged”. Caleb rolled and gave Alexander a warning look. "This room is quite uptight." Alexander continued. He turned to Sasha. "I simply commented that you are beautiful, is it a crime?" "My husband died, and I am held captive on an alien planet and some idiot is asking me to smile." Sasha snapped back.

Even the enchantments hissed and recoiled. And when it cleared— Serena stood alone in the center, panting. Maeron had dropped to one knee, the talisman cracked and flickering. Solmyra screamed. Serena’s hands trembled, but her eyes were steady. Alexandro crawled to her side, clutching his side, his face bloodied but determined. “We can’t stay here…” Serena turned toward him—and froze. Maeron was rising again. Behind him, Solmyra staggered up, her eyes blazing. And this time, both of them looked ready to kill.
