The Race Against Death's Door

The Race Against Death's Door

The moon shines fully, illuminating the darkness outside and providing a glint of light to Svetlana’s eyes as she stared up at it while she sat on a bench with Ahrio next to her. “There’s a legend in Southeast Asian countries that whenever it’s the full moon, ghosts, monsters and other scary supernatural beings appear and roam the world of the living. Do you know that?” Svetlana shared one of those horror stories she had heard from her childhood. Smiling, she glanced at Ahrio and caught him just staring at her face like he’s engrossed about everything about her. “Really? Do those supernatural beings include goddesses? Coz I’m definitely seeing one right now.”

The Nepal Princess Hitler The Man From India

The Nepal Princess Hitler The Man From India

Cocking the head towards me, he said briefly, “Approximately six thousand and seven hundred years ago.” I took a deep breath. “During that period the Mandara Mountains were also the habitat of another tribe called Kambojas. The Kambojas were fierce warriors, skilled in horse-ride and cavalry warfare. Some of them were robber tribes who invaded village-settlements, killing, raping and looting.” He then looked up and closed his eyes. He stayed that way for several seconds before continuing, “My granddaughter, in one of her previous births was a Kambuja and you, a Kinnara, were her husband for a few hours.”

Alpha lost half

Alpha lost half

I muttered gulping in air. "Well, what happened with you!!" The guy who had helped me asked. "I can't really say but a beast attacked me while I was foraging for food" I replied hoping they bought my lie. "A beast??? What do you mean by a beast??" Someone asked amongst the others. "According to ancient myths, there lives a beast in the deepest part of the forest, they are called the RAGUS. It's just a myth and no one has ever come across it" A girl in glasses explained.

Search for the Three Drops of Blood

Search for the Three Drops of Blood

Sugar Aquarius looked rather miserable and disappointed. “Yeah… I begin to doubt whether the so-called ‘myth’ in our demons-world is true or not,” muttered Virando with his somewhat gazing stare. “If it isn’t true, why is there a kind of urban-legend or myth like that, Boss? There’s no smoke without fire, isn’t it?” “Perhaps it’s just a fairy tale composed by our ancestors in the past, Aquarius… You know, just a kind of bedtime story from the parents to their children…”

"No, if I wanted to do that, I'd be in Scotland. In the fog... On a boat... on a lake..." Funny jokes. He’s got funny jokes. I roll my eyes at him. "So what myths and legends are you trying to prove, then?" I cross my ankles, staring at my hands as I lean a shoulder against the tree trunk closest to his dig space. "I want to examine the connection between San Francisco Chinese immigrants and lycanthropy. There was a burst of diagnosed Clinical Lycanthropy in the Chinatown population around the time stories about the Jiangshi, a more powerful undead creature than vampires, might have stirred lycanthropic behaviors among ethnic Chinese immigrants. I also want to learn if something distantly re

Reclaiming my Fated Alpha

Reclaiming my Fated Alpha

I know what he is driving at, even though he is reluctant to say it out loud. But the more I think about it, the more absurd it sounds. “So you think the black mist that killed Helen is the same one from the so-called book of Udbhava? Helios…it’s a folklore, a myth that grandparents tell their children on a cold winter’s night for fun and entertainment.” He rubs his chin. “Sometimes, myths come from legends, and legends from history that have long been forgotten.” I have to chuckle. “So I have somehow inherited the black mist that corrupted the world’s first Luna? Helios, this is getting ridiculous –“

Dear readers, There will be no updates next week as I will be editing the free chapters as well as correcting the grammatical and spelling errors throughout the story. Please bear with me as I work on improving 'Reclaiming my Fated Alpha’ to make the story even more enjoyable for you :)

Definitely one of the better books on here. It’s well written with minimal errors. There were so many climaxes and conflicts that could have easily been made into plots of second and third books. Only thing I disliked was that the MC was mostly weak through out the story especially for being a Beta.

I furiously denied them, not wanting to believe his words. “Hehe…” he chuckled before walking out of the bar and towards the large couches that were situated at the center of the lounge, “For centuries or more we’ve been in existence. Stories of mythical animals, mythical monsters, and other mythical creatures have been and continued to spread across the world through books, film, television, and many other media sources. Sometimes, you guys portray us as purely symbolic creatures to offer you a closer look at a particular culture’s fears, desires, or values, while other folk tales about cute mythical creatures are based on human nature—or perhaps simply invented to keep your disobedient chi

Curse of the Four Dragons

Curse of the Four Dragons

"Hell, even the Black Mountain tribe believes that we also descend from dragons." “There was one similar account of the yeouiju. It is a folktale I heard during my training. It is a Chinese story that originated here in the other side.” Ryosuke said. Cai Kang isn’t aware of all the stories in the original world but they have similar myths and stories. “The Boy that became a Dragon.” Cai Kang realized. “I know that story. No need to tell me.” He immediately understood the story. It is about a boy who swallowed a yeouiju which he’d accidentally found and became a dragon as a result.

Marcia said, picking out pieces of fruit from the bowl close to her. “Well no one alive” Ley added, “Many stories that are deemed myth are purely so because none were left alive to continue the tale and document it.” “Yeah ok, maybe, I’ll leave the researching about those things for the librarians, I have my own research to do” Marcia replied, waving her hand dismissively. “The only thing you research are your loud canaries” Ley retorted with a booming laugh. “You son of a…” she began to snarl back when a noise from the doorway cut her off.

This is actually a book! Most of the things I read on here have chapters consisting of 800 words or less This on the other hand has chapters that are 2k words on avg. plus the content is amazing. It could use a better editor cause there are a few gramatical errors, but overall, its my favorite book!

Sir Rocket! Your stories are amazing... And I found myself addicted to your book. This Dragon book motivated me to try a dragon fantasy story too. Please try out my book "The Dragon's Fragile Bride: His to Possess"

Shadows of the Moon

Shadows of the Moon

“So I thought we could do a representation of common misconceptions of our ancestors. Ones that came from either movies, books or even folklore itself.” Liam nodded, his expression thoughtful. “I like that. We could pull from the most well known ones. Like how vampires turn into bats.” Liam hissed the last word. “Or like how werewolves senselessly attack humans when we change, or how just a simple bite or scratch will turn you or how we howl every time we see the moon.” Ethan rolled his eyes clearly annoyed. “And how witches are always green, ugly and evil.” Maya had been jotting down every idea that had been voiced.
