I do exactly as he says even though it isn't easy focusing on just myself considering the other people in this room but after a few minutes I'm able to do it, I block out the world and just focus on myself. Then I hear my heartbeat and I'm just about to give up when I hear it. It's so soft like a flutter and I focus in on it. Then it becomes clear it's so fast but there's no mistaking it, that's another heartbeat.

I asked, unbelieving her and I felt her nod. "Yes. All you have to do is close your eyes, take deep breaths, and shut out every other sound. Focus on your womb, there's a faint heartbeat there, and you should hear it. Are you ready?" She asked and I nodded. Together we took deep breaths and focused on trying to hear my child's heartbeat. After a few unlucky tries, I finally heard it.
