Grey's assistance came through by holding Scar's hands behind him leaving me with an opening to rip his heart out. "This is for my daughter you piece of shit!" I said, harvesting his heart and tossing it on the floor. I watched the color drain out of him as he fell to the floor and froze up before breaking up into dust. We had just won the battle and we were celebrating victory when Vladimir stepped out of the shadows. It was almost like the vampire king had somehow reincarnated. He walked down towards us calmly but I could feel my pack mates on edge. "It's alright," I said. "This is Vladimir I spoke to you about."

,he stares at her with longing. "we should be together and you know it but since you want to play hard to get I'm going to enjoy killing those you love",he vampire speeds over but Victor kicks him back and into the wall. A loud hiss fills the room as his vampire friends come in and the fighting starts. Warriors surround us as Grey stands.

My vision blurred slightly from the pressure, but I kept my jaw tight, fingers still pulling at his arm, trying not to tremble. I didn’t crawl through war and grief just to be broken by some golden-eyed bastard. "It was training," I hissed, my voice raw and strained. "I don’t know why the hell you're taking it so personal. Maybe if you stopped being a stuck-up bastard for five seconds, you'd get that." Vance let out a quiet laugh that made my skin crawl, and then, slowly, he leaned even closer. So close I could feel his lips near my ear, his breath warm and tainted with the kind of rage that simmered just beneath the surface. "I don’t like being touched by weaklings," he whispered.

But it sagged, slack and uneven, like a heartbeat skipping too many times in a row. I saw it then, not with my eyes, but with the part of me that had loved her across lifetimes. Her on her knees. Her breath ragged. Her power spilling out of her not as fire, but as light being pulled into something else. Varkar wasn’t just fighting her. He was feeding from her. “Alpha!” A warrior shouted from the battlements. “The outer wards… pressure spike from the east!” “Let them feel it,” I growled. “They don’t cross.”

He quickly grabs a sword from the floor, rushing towards Annabelle with the gait of a warrior, his sword raised up high, aiming to cut off Annabelle's neck. Annabelle turned staring vaguely at him, her eyes still bleeding black tears. Frenger fell conscious but paralysed and so did Oden before he tried to strike. The crowd began to scream each rushing out, in search of safety. Annabelle grabs Vanessa's neck staring deeply into her eyes " Annabelle!" Richard calls out lightly, his voice spelling despair. He gave her a pained stare his lips pressed tightly against each other. He wanted her to stop, he didn't want to oppose her. He would not, he could not.

Sigh e_e I mean, I’m not annoyed or anything about their plot progressions. I mean, ‘The Villainess is My Lover’ has one of the best written plots in my opinion, because the protagonist, despite being evil, fits the criteria of a villainess that many would love. Beautiful, sassy, intelligent, a queen, and people might not see it, but she’s also passionate, despite his cold demeanour. The scenario during their war with Andorhal was written pleasantly, including the interactions between Carter and Minerva.
