“He still hasn't accepted me as his mate,” I said, lowering my voice.
“That is his problem.” I smiled despite myself, Athea leaned closer.
“You like him,” she stated.
“I never said that,” I looked away.
“You didn't have to.” Before I could answer, a knock sounded again, this time Caspian entered. His eyes immediately moved towards me.
“Good morning,” he said.
“Good morning,” I replied. His gaze shifted towards the untouched food.
