“That shit doesn’t fly in the human world, as you well know,” Leo said. “So sit down and explain yourself.”
Cato dragged himself to the kitchen table and folded his arms.
“What did Elias do?” I asked.
“He was being a dick in football practice,” he grumbled, “Cheating and shit.”
“You punched your cousin over something so trivial as irritating you in football practice? Cato, you shouldn’t be fighting with him at all.”
“How many times has Dad fought Haden?” he asked. “How many times has he almost killed Haden?”
