Dog feels something pressing his heart like he had been a bad boy, but it could have been just Cat's claw.

She stood there in a daze as she muttered, “A shark? What shark? Ryan told me that the area was safe. How could Leon have been bitten by a shark?” Mary did not want to talk to her anymore. She called for security and told them to escort Lily away. In the ward, Lydia saw Lily struggling outside. She was confused. “Isn’t that Lily? Why is she here?” “She’s my fiancee.” I smiled bitterly. Lydia and William both stiffened, their expressions instantly turning awkward. “That day… Ryan was talking about an engagement party. Chapter Sixty-three ~Fiona~ “We need to do something about that woman, Alpha. She knows we are sleeping together and is threatening to expose me,” I said impatiently. Alpha Damon didn’t look even remotely worried. “Would you like some lemon tea?” He asked instead, like he hadn’t heard a word of everything I just said. He didn’t wait for my response and ordered his servants to pour me tea. I waited for a full minute, just to see if he would say anything but he just picked up his mug to sip his tea. My foot was practically tapping impatiently under the table.

"He's decided my design table makes an excellent bed. Right on top of the blueprints, naturally." I showed her pictures, describing each one. "And here's his new friend Marie - she's this tiny Yorkie who thinks she's a Great Dane. They met at the dog park..." I paused. "I haven't told you about Nate, have I? He owns Marie. He's... well, he's been kind. To both of us." The sound of heels clicking on tile made me turn. Catherine stood in the doorway, elegant as always in a powder blue suit. "I hope I'm not intruding," she said softly.

Her laughter filled my ears. She was crouching down, effortlessly talking with fear, but I kept a straight face. When I saw Aldebaran and Naomi's daughter, she just reminded me of Lacie. I'm not feeling like talking much at the moment, and I probably won't be for the next few days either. But Catrina messed everything up, and now the pup is giving me this look like I'm a complete idiot. "Okay." Aldebaran's pup said, showing Catrina a wide smile.

I needed a clue. "For now, she is with her pet, the fake Delmar and his mate. Hey, what's the name of that werecat's mate again?" I could imagine he asked the other guy while giving him a loud tap on the shoulder. The tap was so strong that it had a muffled sound. "Kian. They met in the woods. That werecat was almost caught in the act. That sea princess should use her seducing power to the right person, like us!" The two burst out laughing.

Xenia sighed, glancing at the door to be sure we were alone before climbing off my lap to get dressed. I sighed, knowing she was right. Once we were both appropriately covered, we made our way downstairs. In my living room, two car seats sat on the coffee table, Tinkerbell sniffing into one of them while Zeus stood on his hind legs to try and reach the babies. Don chuckled from his spot on the sofa. “Who’s your new girlfriend, Zeus? I see we share a love for women taller than us.” Don teased my dog before turning his head to raise an eyebrow at Xenia and me.

Katrina took a deep breath, after dwelling in her thoughts for sometime, and relaxed back on the bed just then sleep took her off. Soon it was morning, and Katrina was already up, she turned over to the other side of the bed and saw that Alpha Logan wasn't up yet. She was still staring at him, when all that hadl happened the previous day flashed back into her head, and immediately she felt angry all over again. "Do you think there is anything for you to be angry over what our mate said last night?" Her wolf asked.
