The Quintessential Quintuplets' Mate.

The Quintessential Quintuplets' Mate.

"Now start yapping or else I'm having barbequed Wolf for dinner." "Alright! Alright! I'll talk! They're up in a cave at the top of these mountains. The entrance is hidden, too high for normal hikers to find, and the caves run deep enough for us to hide in!" White blabbered out, his eyes fixated on the flame. He continued spilling his guts to Sidney to the point that he was confessing to crimes ranging from killing humans during the pack hunts on the full moon to being the second gunman on the grassy knoll. "Is that everything?" Sidney asked with a snarl, jerking the lighter towards White's face.

Intrigued and concerned, Amelia and Markas decided to investigate, accompanied by Fenrir and a few trusted companions. As they entered the cavern, an eerie silence cloaked the atmosphere. The walls were adorned with intricate carvings, depicting a story of love, sacrifice, and the power of the elemental stones.

To live or to love

To live or to love

The pack members raised their bones and cheered, their voices echoing through the night. Gasher raised his voice, interrupting the conversation. "That reminds me, have any of you heard about a secret cave called the Black Cave of Oints?" he asked. The room went silent as the other rogues looked at each other with confusion. One of them spoke up, "Is that from a children's book or what?" and the rest burst out laughing. Gasher's face grew stern. "I'm not joking," he said. "I heard about it from some travelers. They said it's filled with treasure, enough to make us all rich for the rest of our lives," he lied.

BAD MOON

BAD MOON

"No it's not. Last time this happened, I killed...I..ended up killing a lamb." . . . Meanwhile Doug told a story of an old tale to Mia who was keen to know. "Want to know why it's called Storm Mountain?" . . . The students set out, exploring the chambers of the caves. Many were quite fascinated by the beautiful crystals that popped out of the corner and others were intrigued to find plants and herbs growing upon the walls. Other students were busy, gossiping away and others explored away on their own. Some of the student council memebers had finally split up exploring on their own whilst others chased their love interests like Nabi and Theo.

PROTECTED BY THE WEREWOLF

PROTECTED BY THE WEREWOLF

But can we please not say more about him? “Oh, sure . I'm sorry . Misty didn't look so sad. Suddenly, she seemed deeply interested in the site and all the minutiae of life on the dig. She asked me a lot of questions about living in tents and what I ate and how much rubbish I needed to change each day. — Is carrying out an excavation in an ancient cave dangerous? Misty asked. - It could be. Caves carry inherent hazards such as slipping or fall hazards, but these caves are pretty solid. We have a strict safety protocol in place, and a local ranger oversees us to ensure we are adhering to guidelines. So far there have been no accidents.

A Deal with Desire

A Deal with Desire

They ventured into the cavern, the blue light intensifying with each step. The cavern was vast and eerily silent, devoid of the bioluminescent fungi that had illuminated their previous path. Smooth, obsidian walls reflected the cerulean glow, creating an unsettling sense of distortion. As they ventured deeper, the air grew colder, and a faint hum vibrated through the stone, resonating in their bones. Suddenly, the cavern floor gave way beneath them. Evie yelped, falling through the darkness. Liam's hand slipped from her grasp, a muffled cry escaping his lips. The fall felt like an eternity, the blue light above shrinking to a distant pinprick.

His Sin

His Sin

Instead, right below the rocky outcrop we stand on, is a massive ravine, gorged into the mountain leading all the way out to the horizon. Grabbing a hold of Cian’s arm tightly, I push away from the edge of the cliff, wary of the slipping rocks that scatter down into the jagged bottom of the ravine. "I haven't seen my brother in many years, but it's not easy to predict how he is going to react,” Cian exclaims as I awkwardly let go of him. He gestures for me to follow him into the mouth of what appears to be a man made cave. Cloudy lanterns are etched into the walls, lighting the stony path we walk down. I hate to know what entices someone, especially an immortal to choose here to live.

Hidden beneath the cliffs. Reasonable honestly. A dark opening. God. A cave. Fair. A real cave. Reasonable. Not huge. God. Not tiny. Fair. Just big enough. Reasonable honestly. The worst size. God. Then Ava whispered: "I bet nobody's been inside." Fair. Finished. Absolutely finished. Reasonable. The adventure had begun. God. Then Lily stared at the cave. Fair. Curiosity exploding. 10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

The OutCast Luna

The OutCast Luna

As their hearts raced with anticipation, the three mates stepped through the threshold, leaving the world above behind. The cave was vast and cavernous, its walls glistening with droplets of water from the stalactites above. The air was cool and damp, a stark contrast to the heat that radiated from their bodies, fueled by the passion that now drove them. As they ventured deeper into the cavern, the light gradually faded, replaced by the faint, ethereal glow emanating from the phosphorescent fungi clinging to the walls. Their footsteps echoed ominously against the stone, as if whispering the secrets of the underworld.
