(Euan’s P.O.V) Coventina growls low in her throat when a mangy grey wolf enters the clearing behind the werecat. “I see you recognize Jasper, princess. He’s here to help me.” Coventina’s hackles raise, her lip pulled up in a snarl, she lunges but is caught mid-air when a great black blur knocks into her, sending her flying across the clearing. They’ve effectively separated us, this is what they wanted, an opportunity to take her. The werecat shifts back into his tiger, and I follow suit.
