"Uhm, can I have your ticket?" Kane raised a brow, amusement flickering in his blue eyes. "Ticket?" he repeated, his voice deep, teasing. The redhead—Mona, according to her name tag—bit down on her plump lower lip, her gaze darting everywhere except at him. "Sorry, it's just... you look familiar." That made him chuckle. Oh, really? He tilted his head slightly, his gaze flickering to the large poster plastered beside her booth—a giant picture of himself, fists raised, the underground champion.

“Yeah, that’s Logan Carter.” There was a round of Oh's and ahs from the group at the window. I heard my phone buzz on the table with a notification. I closed my laptop down and grabbed my things. A lot of the office stayed at the window watching as I exited. I must admit they were correct; he looked exceptional. He was wearing dark jeans, a crisp white T-shirt and a black leather jacket. He was leaning against the bonnet of a car I didn’t recognise.

That person took a deep breath and introduced himself. That person was from a ninth-grade clan in Sky Peak Continent and was a chosen disciple. His name was Chad Lee. Sky Peak Continent was around the same level as Lycan Continent. They were not at the top of third-grade worlds, but not weak either. Chad was definitely among the stronger warriors around.

Chad remained silent, waiting for the right time to react. A tattoo bearing the surname 'Stanson' seemed to be branded on his back, confirming Chad’s suspicion further. But did he need to do this? He glanced towards Jade. She was still sound asleep, showing no signs of waking. Just then, Levi Stanson whisked off his scarf, providing Chad a clear view of his facial features. He was incredibly handsome, albeit that a long scar extended from his cheek to below his chin. Could that be the reason he hadn’t wanted to appear before Jade directly? Chad wondered.

What shocked Chad the most was that Morgan created a gust of wind with his pocket knife. People without a basic understanding of martial arts would not be able to do that. Morgan continued to speak in Yondu's voice. "Let me introduce you to Yondu Hinata, a top-class sorcerer from Neuf Chrys Club, a Karate Black Belt Grandmaster!" Morgan suddenly punched his fist and charged at Chad. When Chad dodged sideways, Morgan kicked his lower abdomen, smashing him against the wall.

He braved a step forward, then pulled out the sword on his waist and demanded, “Who are you?!” “Who am I?” The swordsman’s face was ice cold. He wiped his blade with his sleeve and replied calmly, “I am Kaito Yamaguchi of the Shindan Way. Mr. Josh has done me a great favor.” “I will kill you for murdering his entire family today, Harvey York!” “Do you have the courage to fight back?!” “Kaito Yamaguchi?!” Tyson’s expression changed frantically. “The curator of Mordu’s Shindan Way Kendo Hall?!”

Audrie opens the back door as I carry Isla's exhausted body to the back seat, where I lay her down. Growls pull our attention to the field aside from the road. Grabbing a pair of shorts from the back, I jog off in their direction; I come across Tate's smashed-up white Ford Raptor. Gazing in the driver's window, Oh fuck, Tate's face down on the steering wheel, a chunk of metal jutting out of his back. I pry open the door, he still has a pulse, and there's no way I'm pulling that out until a doctor says. I pull his limp body out and carry him back to my car. He's a heavy mother fucker.

Annalise is 21 and in college with her two best friends and her sister. She is starting her last year off on a good start. She is one grade ahead of her average age. She is studying art and wants to be the best she can be. She is assigned a partner for her last big assignment, Theo Hyde. Charlie asked, also taking a glance at Levi. "I'm sorry," Jesse took a nervous breath, and looked at K. "Um, K, this is Charlie. She's my friend and assistant," he introduced them cordially. K extended her arm and they shook hands. "You've met Isaac." Jesse paused for a second and then looked back at K before introducing Levi. "And this is Levi. Well, you've met him." He gave him a flat stare, as if setting off caution. "He's my best friend. We've been buddies since we were kids."
