THE UNBROKEN THREAD

THE UNBROKEN THREAD

Her smile was soft, composed, perfectly measured. “An emotional backlash,” she said lightly, addressing the crowd before anyone else could. “The Moon resists sudden severance. It happens.” The elders exchanged uncertain glances. I was still kneeling where the guards had left me. The bond throbbed faintly in my chest , not broken, not gone. Just… buried. Alpha Xander did not look at me. One of the elders frowned. “It should have severed.” Xander’s jaw tightened, “And it did!” A small pause, “Remove her,” he ordered.

From Chains To Crown

From Chains To Crown

They sang. Every corner of the realm shimmered with rebirth. Emily was not just a queen. She was a revolution wearing a crown. They brought Dama with them, holding his little hands in theirs as he toddled between them. The boy was growing quickly — bright-eyed and curious, asking questions about everything he saw. “Why do we burn the chains, Mama?” he asked one morning, his voice high and clear. Emily knelt down and brushed a lock of hair from his face. “Because chains should never touch the skin of the innocent. We burn them so they can never hurt anyone again.”

BARBARIAN: The Mad Alpha Is My Mate.

BARBARIAN: The Mad Alpha Is My Mate.

It simply—stopped being whole, silver links falling away from Caierre's chest and hitting the stone in a small, bright, meaningless clatter, and nobody, not one person standing in that pass, could have said what had broken it. Caierre gasped like a man surfacing from deep water. The pull in Alvar's chest eased all at once, so fast it left him dizzy, catching himself against the old man's shoulder before he went down again himself. Silence. Real silence this time, total, even the wolves gone quiet. The Keeper who'd held the chain stared at the broken links in his hand like they'd betrayed him personally. "That chain has held gods," he said, hoarse. "It doesn't break. It's never broken."

Mated to Three

Mated to Three

I felt Lisbet beginning to pull hard at the cuffs and chains then, trying to break them, and I began to wonder if she'd lost it. 'You heard them,' I said to her quietly, within our mind, 'They're solid iron, even a Lycan couldn't break them.' She didn't stop though, and I could feel the pain in our ankles and wrists as she continued, 'It's a good thing we're no ordinary Lycan, then,' she answered as she gave another hard yank on the wrist chains.

I haven't finished the book as of yet but I love that each chapter makes you want to read the next. The main character isn't annoying and whining through out the book. I look forward to reading more from the author.

I’m loving this storyline so far. I just wish there were more storyline updates between the sex scenes or along with the sex scenes instead of chapters of just pure sex scenes, especially when they are one right after another. I feel like it’s cheating us by paying for repetition.

Broken Pieces

Broken Pieces

I then remembered the door bouncing back open because of a piece of foam slightly sitting in between the doorframe preventing it from closing. "But how am I gonna get there?" I looked down at the chains that were attached to my wrist and then noticed that they weren't even locked. They were still open but slightly. I carefully shoved my thumb into the lock in attempt to apply pressure in order to get it to open up more. My acrylic nail popped off taking my actual nail off with it. I screamed out as a tremendous amount of pain shot through my hand. "FUCK!" I squealed as I watched blood seep out of my finger.

Alpha's Hidden Chains

Alpha's Hidden Chains

It’s eerily quiet—too quiet. Shit. I can do this. I have to do this. My heart pounds in my chest, a frantic rhythm urging me forward. I’m not even sure where I am. No wolf to guide me, no heightened senses to give me direction. Just me—human, fragile, and very, very breakable. But I know one thing for certain: I have to keep going. My ribs ache with every breath, a deep, sharp pain that makes me wince with every step. Broken? Probably. But the pain in my chest is nothing compared to the fire burning in my veins. The wolfsbane is a cruel enemy, relentless and unyielding, its poison tearing through me like molten lava.

"What is this? Are you trying to make me feel better or something? Stop it, Allen. I don't need that kind of positive reinforcement. The fact is, I'm broken, right?" "Ash!" Aslan rolled his eyes. "What? Never mind, don't deny it. This has been my condition for a long time, right? Besides, I'm the one with the condition, you don't have to worry about it." Allen sighed. He knew Aslan just hated his condition, but Allen did not like it every time Aslan called himself broken. In Allen's eyes, Aslan was normal. A normal human being. He was just a little different from the other Alphas, and that did not change anything. He was still Allen's little brother, and Allen loved him.

The Luna Queen

The Luna Queen

“I felt it!” “Good. We’re doing it.” I kept going. I moved my hands and pulled the silver light across another part of the chain. I whispered again, “Break.” Crack....Another link snapped. I worked through the chains slowly, breaking them piece by piece. Each crack felt like thunder in the realm. The dark mist swirled angrily around us, as if the realm itself was watching and disapproving. Finally, I reached the last chain. It was thicker than the others. It pulsed with red sparks. It felt… older and stronger. Like it held the whole spell together.

The Broken Alpha

The Broken Alpha

I should have known that something was wrong, that something didn't quite fit together perfectly, no matter how many times Althea would beg me to look closer and pay attention. But I didn't, I was blinded by love and the thing us werewolves cherish most, a bond. The bond pulls two individuals together and locks their fate. The bond that traps us werewolves, and the bond that's impossible to break without pain and heartbreak. The mate bond a gift from the moon goddess herself, and look where it's left me, in a room filled with spells that no one could break, no one but the grand witch herself. I tried using my wolf, Hayden, but he isn't strong enough to break the spell or the chains I've been
