Orders were shouted. Security teams began checking cameras, elevators, exits, and every room inside the penthouse. Within seconds, the entire building was on lockdown. Nobody entered. Nobody left. But something told me we were already too late. I stared at the black screen where David Brooks’s video had ended.

The she-lycan was a strappy one but Skyla persisted. The she-lycan turned her head toward the room and screeched, "Someone come inside! Sasha Ma'am is trying to run away! Someone come inside!!!" Skyla tried her best to get the she-lycan's hand off her arm and said, "Just leave me!" The she-lycan's scream invited another she-lycan. This one was a familiar face for Skyla because it was Chloe, a she-lycan from the day when Skyla was locked inside the cage.

Hallie suddenly became enraged and she began screaming at Queen Lacy into the darkness. "I can smell you, bitch! Show yourself! I'm not afraid of you!" She yelled into the dark. "Show yourself you nasty bitch!" Hallie screamed again into the nothingness of the night. She suddenly felt her whole body stiffen up and turn to ice. The smell was also becoming more putrid by the second. Hallie knew that the Sprite queen was breathing down her neck right then and she wanted to reach around and grab her by the throat, but when she reached for Queen Lacey, the sprite queen quickly dissipated and she was gone.

I scream at her. Melanie comes out of the bedroom crying and visibly upset about what has happened between the three of us. “This bitch is crazy too!” I scream at Melanie. I walk out of the bathroom and head for the door. “Where are you going?” Tonya asks. “Far the fuck away from you, stay away from me. You are crazy!” I scream at her as I walk out of the door. Melanie runs after me. “Stop!” Melanie screams. I stop at the end of the walkway. “What?” I ask her.

The noisy living room fell silent in an instant, and even the air seemed to have frozen over. Timothy swallowed hard, trying to suppress the terror welling up within. Even so, his hand clutching the slave serum trembled. "Sasha has already been marked. She cannot marry you. Who here is your Luna Queen?" "Beta Timothy Newsom." Leonard sneered. "Who gave you the right to address me like that?"

Someone other than herself. Suddenly, she let out a shrill, hysterical scream and lunged furiously at Helena. “You little bitch! What did you do to me?!” Sabrina yelled, pointing her finger in Helena's face. “Why can't I remember my lines?! It's witchcraft! It's you! You definitely did some dirty trick to block me!” The assistant director and some extras rushed to restrain her, but Sabrina was beside herself. She struggled, pushing everyone away wildly. Even Camila, who approached to try to contain the public relations disaster, ended up with a nasty scratch on her arm from Sabrina's nails.

“Is that… what I think it is?” Elena groaned. “Clara—” “That’s her, isn’t it?” Clara whispered, eyes wide. “Scarlett. The mafia queen. The owner of Club Vixen.” Elena said nothing. Clara grinned. “I remember the other night now. That’s who you’ve been thinking about.” Elena’s face turned crimson. “Clara, stop.” “Oh my God, girl,” Clara teased, taking a sip of her drink. “No wonder you were staring like you saw a ghost. She looks even more dangerous in daylight.”

I pull my phone out of my pocket, reading over a few emails when I hear Daphne giggle. The crowd of people that were talking walked away I could hear the tail end of their muffled conversation. “Yeah, I’d say he’s one hundred percent the decadent, gooey, gooey double fudge sundae but honestly he’s kind of a total a—” A group of kids scream so I miss the last part of what she’s saying. I lean against the curtain, trying to hear the rest of the conversation but a second later she opens the side of the booth and pops back in.
