Death To The Alpha

Death To The Alpha

But how? “What are the cold cells?” I ask, and Haely goes rigid. I move around the kitchen counter behind her and wrap my arms over her waist and tug her back flush against me, focusing on the thought of Ivy, imagining this whole fake relationship is one with the only person I really want to have in my arms. It works for a moment until she talks and melts into my arms. “They are in the dungeon. We have different cells for different torture. The cold cells maintain a temperature of negative three degrees Fahrenheit. Where did you hear about them?” She asks, genuinely curious.

Holy crap.. this was absolutely amazing!!Definitely some tough parts throughout to read, but man was it well written, flowed well, and had amazing character progression. It’s a slow burn, but it’s so worth it! This author is becoming one of my favorites! Author - absolutely amazing job!! :)

Wow, I couldn't put this book down. The story is about revenge, learning to trust, finding family, and healing through trauma. The fight scenes can be graphic, but they are balanced by steamy make-out sessions. The second love interest is not abusive, but he has a secret. Great job.

The Fated Queen

The Fated Queen

Convincing them is going to be the next obstacle. The screen turned on as black at first, with occasional static throughout like an old VCR start up. Then, when Jayce pressed another button, an image popped up on the screen. Gasps and shouts erupted in the hall. On the screen was a deceased Undead monster splayed out on the ground with bullet holes and slash marks through its clammy gray skin. The chest cavity had been peeled away, exposing the top of the ribcage. No heart. No lungs. Its jowls had split apart into two with three rows of jagged teeth on each side.

Dead to My husband

Dead to My husband

“But I'm grateful. Elena was an important part of my life, and I will always respect the memories we shared.” Vivian's expression slowly softened. She understood what he was doing. One of the guests who knew me looked at Vivian. “I remember when Elena use to come for shopping. What actually happened to her?” The room became quiet again. Adrian's hand tightened slightly around Vivian's shoulder. “She died,” he answered. The words struck me harder than I expected. Not because I didn't know he believed I was dead. But because he said it so easily. “She died in an accident,” he continued. “It was a painful period for me. I eventually had to move forward.”

I DATED HIS HALF-BROTHER: REVENGE ON MY EX-HUSBAND

I DATED HIS HALF-BROTHER: REVENGE ON MY EX-HUSBAND

His spinal cord was completely crushed. The room was silent until the cooling unit began to hum. Nothing moved on the body, the rot had consumed everything, but deep within the charred cells, all the drugs that had been pumped into him were still active and reacting. Dr. Varkov’s combination of drugs was powerful enough to regenerate a horse. Cane Marcom was as good as dead, but the burnt body was beginning to change and harden. He wasn't waking up, but he wasn't decomposing either, as he should be. His cells were mutating instead of dying. He was becoming a shell of hate. For now, he was dead, but monsters have a habit of haunting the places they died.

Death is the only Escape

Death is the only Escape

Those guards were now trying to get away from the smoke, which was making them long for air. Oliver moved a little further towards the other side of the warehouse and then suddenly froze. Thomas and his assistant walked up to him. Thomas's eyes widened as he looked at what Olive was staring at for so long. They both stared at the brick wall, which was covered with cement and painted in grey. The catch here was that something was written on it- with blood. "See you soon..." "It's her..." Oliver said and stepped back. He looked kinda horrified. "How can it be??" Thomas said and was shocked to the core. "SHE DIED SIX YEARS AGO!!" As always, he started shouted when he got frustrated.

The One Way Ticket

The One Way Ticket

Gerey was beginning to tremble and the cooling wind that blew here and there began to feel cold against his skin. “Their cell overreacts to the chemicals, I think, they get so strong that their cells don't last much longer in that state so it - explodes in them, one by one till the individual is gone.” He paused and they walked on, slower than before. “You see, I didn't have much time to talk about it with whom I got the information from. If we'd spoken a second longer, he'll be dead and probably me, too.” “Woah! That's wild. Where are they doing this stuff?”

Mate Rebound

Mate Rebound

he said. Damien progressed along the row until he reached one. His eyes widened. Then he turned to me. “They’re still alive.” I didn’t believe him at first — until I saw it myself. The slightest breath clouded the interior of a single glass pod. These weren’t tombs. They were cells. Failed subjects. Not dead. Just forgotten. I stepped toward the middle of the room. There was a giant sigil scorched onto the floor — cracked, blood red. It was the Wardens’ crest, but backwards and shattered.

Alpha VS Omega' Twin VS Twin (A Dark Werewolf Romance)

Alpha VS Omega' Twin VS Twin (A Dark Werewolf Romance)

The fourth cell is the one I get to last, and it is the one that stops me for a moment in the doorway before I go in, because the fourth cell contains an adult, a human woman, and humans in Hermetic Order facilities are not a category I have encountered before and my mind needs the moment to place it correctly. She is dead. She has been dead for several days based on the condition of the body, the specific indicators that I know from three years of medical work in communities where death is not always attended and which tell me she died of the accumulated physiological cost of confinement and stress rather than any acute cause, the specific way that bodies fail when they are held in places t

Death's Day

Death's Day

If it ever did, he would dismiss it as a mere gossip. Marcus continued staring through the windows as the greenery rushed past them, while he turned back inwardly to something that was troubling his soul. His mind told him he had made a mistake. His ego told him that what he did was right. It was not every day that one got to deal with a witch, even if it was a little boy. That wouldn’t have been a problem if he had not nearly choked because the boy, Jason was looking at him. Dean had died soon after. Problem was he didn’t know how powerful the boy was.
