If Felix did have memories of such a horrific act, it would certainly explain his own extreme fear of being eaten. He knew that if Kendra was there, she’d be on the porch shooting arrows into the heads of the zombies so fast that they wouldn’t know what hit them. He’d be doing it too if he had her skill. But, that wasn’t Felix and it probably never would be. He harbored a deep rooted, over the top fear of zombies. All they could hope for was that he’d be able to function and offer some degree of help when the time came.

CHAPTER 18.1 THIRD PERSON P.O.V WHAT'S more surprising is that she seemed to fear Mr. Valcarcel very much as if he would cause her death of her or something. Even when Angus would just mention his name to Evelyn, there would be reluctance and fear in her eyes. What's more, the way she gave Mr. Valcarcel a title of a psychopath villain. How could she be so sure that he is a psychopath just by basing the words of the people? How did he become a villain?

Fear. Four letters, but a word that every human being knows. It is impossible not to be afraid of anything. It is fear that makes us human. It is he who unites us. It is he who makes us see life in a negative or positive way. And the worst kind of fear is the fear of the unknown. The one we don't know where it comes from or what it can cause.

Jax looked at me with a serious expression. “Of course I do! I wasn’t born yesterday! It means when you’re scared of something, like I fear my father for example.” I through my hands up in the air. Jax chuckled and took my face in his hands softly making me look directly at him. “No honey. The word fear is more of an acronym.” I scrunched my face up in confusion. “Ok now you got me 38 shades of confuzzled fucked. Explain yourself.” Jax laughed and dropped his hands. “You’ve been hanging around Alida WAY to long hun. She’s rubbing off on you.” He said as he got up to get a pen and paper.

Thalia wanted to ask what he meant by that but then Carter continued as he spoke while rubbing her back in circular motion. “Take Caroline for example, on the surface she is a fantastic mother but underneath she is downright paranoid. She doesn’t handle changes well and it's in her nature to reject strangers. She also has a big problem trusting seers, which is something not very common.“

We've never even had a proper conversation, yet he can tell a secret I always try to hide from people's eyes so easily. "What's that?" I ask unconsciously. He slows and waits till I fall in line with his steps. His gaze is on me as he says, "You fear the dark, Mare. Someone whom many wolves and Alphas feel threatened by, yet it's the dark that tops your list of fears." He chuckles to himself because even I can see that it is ridiculous. I justify it with a pout. "Everyone's scared of the dark. It just depends who's brave enough to stand it."

Tess I find many things in this world scary: walking to the bathroom late at night when you don’t have a nightlight on, fake friends, the members of the Safir pack, and last, and probably my biggest fear, is the thought of spending eternity alone. Sue me for thinking that’s a terrible fate, but that is how I feel without lying to myself.

My plate shook, my hands moving away from my food. “I don’t know that!” His voice boomed, “This isn’t a fucking game. I need his time here to be perfect.” I felt my breath being held in my chest. “You won’t ruin another thing for me.” With that, Triston stood up and left me at the table. Triston and I were like fire and ice. He burned, and I melted with him near me. I gripped the edge of the table before I stood, my legs wobbled, nearly giving out from under me-
