She stood for a moment, her gaze shifting from Karken to Khimaira. “I, uh, I didn't mean to interrupt.” Charlotte stammered, a mischievous smile playing on her lips. Karken shot her a glare. “Interrupt? That's putting it mildly. Dear Charlotte, a warrior needs his…rest.” He drawled, emphasizing the last word with a pointed look at Khimaira.

Instead, he nodded in approval. Charlotte finally turned and left the room. When she entered the kitchen, she sent all the servants out of the room and took out a small bag of powder from her pocket. Several bottles, labelled for whiskey, gin and rum, are also part-filled with water. As we watch, Charlotte stretches out, straining to reach against her manacled ankle. She just snags the handle of the jug with outstretched fingers, pulling it closer, then carefully decants the contents into one of the bottles before replacing the jug under the drip.

She had just spent the last six hours of her day, preparing for the company’s big launch. The day had been one hectic day for her. From getting her hair and makeup done to having to change into countless outfits and having to strike various poses; she was dead tired. “Here, drink this,” he said, handing over a bottle of water to charlotte. “Thank you,” Charlotte said and took the bottle. She didn’t realize how dehydrated she was until she started drinking the water. “Woah, slow down so you don’t choke on it,” Christian cautioned when he saw how fast she was drinking the water.

It’s not just cold because my siblings aren’t allowed to drink cold water to avoid getting colds.”

After finishing her bath , the door opened and Charlotte noticed that it was her mother . " Charlotte ?! " said Catherina when she heard some noises . Charlotte went to her room without being noticed by her mother and took the medical kit too . When she entered her room , she got dressed quickly and started to place the medicine on her hands so that they would be disinfected .Luckily it took a while for her mother to change clothes and finish placing the newly washed clothes in their proper place so that the medicine could dry

I sober up pretty fast. An hour or so. It’s weird. I’ve only ever tried beer, and I didn’t like it. Based on that experience, I thought all alcoholic drinks tasted like pee.”

Cassidy chirped happily and Bree put her hand on Charlotte's as if she was congratulating her and it made her blush deeper. "Hot damn... he's that good.
