My breaths are labored, my chest aching with every inhale. I am such a fool. I should have known if my husband was seeing some other woman. I should have known! The thought consumes me, and I don’t notice where I am going until it’s too late. My heel catches on the edge of the curb, and I stumble onto the road. Headlights. Bright, blinding headlights. Wade tried to comfort Henry who was like a cat on a hot tin roof. However, Henry simply lay there without replying. He had a dreadful feeling about this. It seemed that something worse than ever was about to happen. "Mr. Chase, I also have a report regarding the cause of your car losing control. It seems that someone was behind it." Instinctively, I locked all the doors and tried to speed off but to my astonishment and dismay, the steering felt too difficult to move. I tried switching gears but it was difficult for it to move and my fears peaked. What was wrong with the car? Was I stuck here! What have they done…

Chapter 12 Throughout the flight to New York, Jayda felt very scared and the nervous feeling from the pit of her stomach made her more scared. She'd received a call from Keisha that Lucy got into an accident and is in the hospital. She couldn't even wait to hear everything Keisha had to say and just tool off to the airport.
