Chase X Skye Novels & Stories

The moment I asked about Skye, Zara’s body language shifted. Her shoulders tensed and her fingers tightened around the seatbelt. She quickly composed herself and forced a small smile. “Oh, Skye is probably just buried at the office,” she said lightly. “You know how she gets when she’s deep in a case. The world disappears for her.” Zara let out a short, cold laugh. “You should be used to it by now. It’s always work with Skye. She hardly leaves room for anything, or anyone, especially when she and her partner are chasing a big lead.”

"Uh, oh… sorry about that. I didn't realize that you had a mate. And it’s Nix, that’s unbelievable. Sorry and congratulations to both of you." I accepted his apology. "No worries. No harm done." The girl shook her head at his denseness. "I'm Chloe, and this is Greg and Soren." Greg shook my hand. "If you didn't pick it up, Chloe is my mate." I said, "Yes, I noticed." I tilted my head as I examined Soren. "And your mate is Cassie from the library, right? I met her earlier today, she seems nice." Soren shook his head. "No, I haven't met my mate yet."

Now, they seem to rely on each other as they both aim to seek justice and revenge for what happened to me. “You tell him, Gab, of why can't we let him join us in this crazy Supremo thing I am into,” Skye said without giving the phone to Gab despite what she seemed to have ordered the man to do. Instead of handing the phone to Gab, Skye seemed to move a hand to Gab and soon he sat next to Skye. I saw their faces on the screen, right next to each other. “If you appear here, your presence may rattle the water which Skye had just managed to calm after feeding fear to the crocodiles that seemed to be waiting silently for a chance to devour her.”

Good, let her watch, Skye thought bitterly, even as her lips tingled from Xavier's brutal kiss. As they turned to face the audience, Xavier's hand rested possessively on the small of her back, guiding her down the aisle. The whispers started again, but this time, Skye didn't care. Let them talk. Let them gossip. She'd already survived worse. Xavier leaned down, his lips brushing against her ear one last time. "You're mine, angel," he murmured, his tone dark and full of promise. "Whether you like it or not." And with that, the battle lines were drawn.

|•BLISS•| "Okay, so practically you are dating NYU's quarterback eh!" Chloe exclaims as we sit on the carpet for the dinner. After Zeke and I left his family house, he had dropped me off at my doorstep and even gave a goodbye kiss, I couldn't have been more elated but rather unfortunately Chloe saw us kissing and she had told the girls who all insisted I give them the full details. Sly nosy girls. "Well it would seem so" I reply to Chloe's question with a shrug.

Skye muttered and grinned. “What is happening?” Hierro asked in bewilderment. But, Skye didn’t answer. “You will know later.” He just said and pecked Hierro’s lips again. “For now, let us continue this game of chase.” He said and laughed as he increased his speed.

The sound coming from the music background seemed to fade away as I get closer to her direction and just when I was inches away from the stage, I intentionally grabbed her smooth long leg. I want this toy to play with me. As soon as my hands landed at her foreleg, the woman stepped backward and seductively made her way towards the backstage leaving me behind. What the fuck? Another woman emerged out from the other side of the room however; it was not the same as her. My hand turned into a fist. I want her bad; I will get what I want. “Where is your manager?” I shouted atop of my lungs.

I just kept praying that she would turn around, and tell me this was all a prank. The moment she opened the door, I called her name. She spun around, kind of hesitated before looking at me. I swallowed the morsel in my throat, and kept my hands into my pocket. "I affirm that this journey has ended, so yes, the Chase is over." She nodded, and said nothing. She just turned around, and left.

I roll my sleeves up, helping Cherry to color a pencil she drew. It looked like a banana of some sought but she was pretty good for her age. It's my second week reaching here and it's been a really fun experience for me. I dropped the color and clapped my hands for her, a wide grin took over her face, then her eyes dart to the door and they go wide. Turning around, I see Scott standing at the door, his hands his in his long jacket, his dark rugged jeans right on his legs, and his boot as always was chelsea. He looked sinfully handsome just standing there and he didn't even have to try.

Once she was satisfied with how she looked, she went down. Scar found him—Skye, lost in thought staring at the glass of champagne in his hand. "Hey, " She lightly tapped on his shoulder, he turned to the sound of her voice, "Did you miss me?" She grinned as she asked that. Skye sighed in relief, "Yes, a lot, I was pretty bored without you." That's when he noticed her outfit, his gaze stared her up and down they returned up again. "Wow, you look stunning, Scar." Skye let out, still intently gazing at her.
