Chasing Dreams Book Novels & Stories

Every chapter, every word, was part of my own catharsis, and it is with a full heart that I share this with you today. This will be the last book in the Dreams series. The journey of Shadrach, Wynter, and the others has come to its beautiful conclusion, and I have no intentions of returning to continue their story. As much as I’m sad to close this chapter, I know it’s time for me to move on to new beginnings.

I managed to get inside swiftly. I let my eyes wander leisurely, scanning the rows of shelves for one that caught my interest. A soft smile graced my lips when I realized the perfect section was standing right before me, waiting like an old friend I hadn’t yet met. With a gentle touch, my fingers glided across the spines of the books, their textured covers whispering promises of stories untold. My gaze danced over the titles, seeking something that resonated, something familiar until one caught my attention. “All About Dreams,” I murmured softly, the words rolling off my tongue as I carefully pulled the book from its place.

Hey guys, I want to appreciate everyone who reads this book. It means a lot to me. Sooooo, I know some of you might not be happy with the end, but I want you to know it's just a story. And wait, remain calm! There's going to be book two. This is more like a prequel, an introduction to their love story. Book two is titled: Chasing her. It'll be out soon. Yes. Soon. You don't wanna miss book two, do you? 🤔

I'm sure everyone who read the first six chapters of this novel must have been wondering how I was so fast with my updates right? How I was super sonically able to release one chapter almost everyday not so? Like I've got the fastest fingers for a super power right?

My body is so used to only going to bed at like three in the morning and wake up at seven that I know it’ll take forever to actually fall asleep. “I can get you a book or something to keep you busy?” he suggests and my face immediately lights up. He sees it and with a chuckle, he gets off of the bed. He leaves the room and a few moments’ later returns with an old battered copy of what looks like The Hunger Games. Fitting, both characters stuck in a place and being able to climb trees. “Hope it’s alright” Chase said, “Got it from Chevy. She’s obsessed” “It’s perfect, thank you” I said, putting the book down next to me. Chase leaves after telling me once more to not run away and then I’m left

Welcome, hun! How are you doing? How're things coming at y'all? I hope everything's well, I'll make sure you won't feel outcasted in this book. I'll make you feel at ease, even if it's just in your wildest daydream. Dream High, Reach the sky. Remember the sky has no limits, after all this story is about reaching an almost impossible goal hahaha! If you're stuck in a situation between pursuing your dream but hurting a person you never wanted to even pinch, and stop pursuing your goal to stop hurting that person, what would you choose? Why?

Her cousin’s laughter abruptly ceased, replaced by a silence that was heavy and disconcerting. Casey arched an eyebrow but did not look back. Her focus was caught by a peculiar title on the top shelf. Standing on her good foot, she stretched her arm out, grimacing slightly at the pull in her side. “What is this?” she murmured, pulling the book down. She studied the cover with a raised brow. ‘One Hundred and One Ways to Get Your Dream Man.’ What is this? She turned the book over, skipping through the pages to see the content inside. She was about to tease Zazu about it when she noticed her cousin sitting quietly, her gaze distant. Something was wrong.

I was kind of freaking out a little. Last night I had a dream that wouldn't leave my head. It was of James and I chasing after a cute, dark-haired little boy. My mom was there, sober, and his parents were there. It was almost perfect. And it was dumb. The dumbest dream I had ever had because I knew it could never happen.

just as heavy as the hunger I tried to ignore. Through it all, I held onto the past in quiet, desperate ways. I kept a picture of Mia inside an old book. one of the few remnants of my old life, a life that felt like a dream now, distant and unreachable. The cover was faded. the spine worn from years of handling, but it was mine. On the hardest nights, when sleep wouldn’t come and the walls felt too close, I would take the picture out. I ran my fingers over the edges, tracing the lines of her face, the softness of her smile.

Without her, I wouldn't have been able to take down those rogues. I finished eating and cleared up my plates, before slipping into bed and finally sleeping fully fir the first time in days. In my dream, I saw Jace and Lucas chasing me, their jaws opening and closing wildly as they nipped at my heels. No matter how far or fast I moved. I couldn't get away from them at all. At some point I slipped and fell into the mouth of a gaping darkness that appeared out of nowhere, my screams getting swallowed up by the eternal, suffocating silence.
