Only Damien's most trusted men Dante, Pear, David and Antony stood there. I was still digesting everything. I didn't know how to react. I looked at the coffee table to see something red kept there. I moved closer to see it was Coco whose brown fur has turned matte red. I tried touching him but I couldn't build up the courage.

Fear gripped her heart as her mind raced, trying to comprehend who could be chasing them. "Chase!" she exclaimed, her voice trembling with panic. "We are being followed!" Reaching into his pocket for his phone, he looked at her troubled gaze. "Hold on, Jada," he said. "We need to lose them." The driver accelerated, weaving through traffic as he skillfully maneuvered the car to shake them off. But the SUVs behind them seemed relentless, closing in with each passing moment. Looking at Chase talking on the phone, Jada's heart pounded in her chest, and she gripped the edge of her seat, her eyes darting between the side mirror and the road ahead.

She was trying as hard as she could, and desperately wanted Red not to give up on her, but she seemed to be failing at everything. Red was conducting a drill where she would approach Jane and try and lightly tag her by touching Jane's side. All Jane had to do was keep Red away, and Jane was failing miserably. She kept trying to run, periodically pushing blindly away with her miscellaneous extremities. She tried anticipating which direction Red was going to go, but the lycanthrope always seemed one step ahead of her.
