Chasing Slow Book Novels & Stories

Aww,Bella can walk and talk now. *Sheds tears* my baby is all grown up. Any way I'm planning to start a new book once I'm done with this book. It's not a sequel because there might never bee a sequel for Chasing Tara. Scratch that there won't be a sequel. Any way the book I will be starting after Chasing Tara is Called Beneath the cover. I'll give you the description very soon. All ideas are welcome but this is teen fiction. That means no wolves, vampires, witches and other supernatural stuff. Its completely human.

I whispered. My eyes searched his face for answers. “Yes but it’s probably my dog. It can be overly sensitive whatever it is, it’s not far.” I sighed quietly, releasing some of the weight in my chest. Leaning back, a dull ache built inside me the stress catching up. “Thank you I murmured, unable to look at him. Then A faint glow came from where I left my phone.I picked it up again. Another message. “You can’t run away from us. We’re getting you soon hang on.”

A nice short and shirt caught her sight and she swiftly put it on. She needed to be quick. It'd be a shame if anyone else walked into this place to find out what was happening. Suddenly, her eyes became alert and she went around, using her wolf speed and checking every single thing. And then, her eyes landed on a computer on a table. She darted for it. The keys of the keyboard vibrated under her swift fingers as she hacked his computer, copying all of her findings into a flash she came with. She chuckled lowly. His name wasn't even Paschal. I had only glimpsed him from a distance then. I thought he seemed cold and distant then, though his deep, dark eyes were bright. At least they were shining when he looked at me. But… Why would he keep my photo, even placing it on his desk where he could easily reach it? "What are you looking at so intently?" Clayton walked in as he passed the study and noticed the light. He came closer when he saw me standing by the desk, staring fixedly at a book. When he realized I was looking at the photograph, his expression instantly froze, and his ears gradually turned red.

Luckily, Ted didn’t get punched. “I’m leaving,” Ted muttered, taking large steps toward the door and exiting quickly. Once Ted left, Tandre opened the folder with Arwena’s information once again. He still couldn’t believe it. A woman as beautiful as Arwena? It was impossible that no man had been chasing her. He bit his lower lip, remembering what Ted had said earlier. “Chase her?!” he exclaimed, slamming the folder onto the table. “That’s never going to happen. I’m the one who should be chased. And I’ll make sure she has no choice but to chase me as payment for what happened before.”

Replaced by something cold, something creeping and slow. A chill Slithered down my spine, curling at the base of my neck. The rush of Control I had Felt moments ago vanished, replaced by something else. Something darker. I stared at the screen, the city lights flashing outside, suddenly distant, blurred. The hum of the engine, the faint chatter of the driver’s radio, it all faded into static. The baby isn’t his. And my grandfather’s death also. The air in the car felt thinner, the leather seat beneath me no longer a throne of victory but something constraining, suffocating. My grip on the phone tightened.

Was he dead? Chase was apparently heading out of the pack’s territory. He must have figured out or suspected that his inability to shift was confined only within our borders and was trying to get some advantage back into control. We ran despite the blinding pain going through us. We ran fast to catch him before he reaches the edge because I know in our current state, we don’t stand a very good chance of surviving this if he shifts into his wolf. We caught up and got the jump on him easily since his running was humanly slow compared to us.

I was standing near the parking lot after having lunch with my friends. Suddenly an enchanting scent hit my nostrils. It was a fusion of jasmine, rose, and honey. The smell of my mate. My wolf was excited as well. I followed the scent towards a tree. She was sitting there reading a book. She was munching a chocolate bar and smiling while reading the book. I felt both excited and angry. Excited about getting her as my mate and angry for me being an asshole. She will never forget the things that I did to her.

I don't know why dad everyday read the newspaper. Soon mom came with my favorite meal. I ate my meal happily. "Slow down princess.", dad stated worriedly. It was only then I realize that I was eating way to fast. So I slowed down. I took the last sip of my choco. After which dad pointed his finger towards the window. I looked outside and jumped. The clouds have left the sky and the sun was blazing with all its glory. I rushed upstairs to my room and brought my favorite hello kitty ball. "Dad let's go outside and play catch-catch.", I said showing him my puppy eyes.
